I was wondering if anyone else had trouble with rides breaking down. The past time I was at Disney the first day we were there we were going to our room in the Contemporary and the elevator got stuck!!!!:scared: That messed up the whole trip because every time I was on a ride I was afraid it would break down. Then we were on the monorail and it lost power. The monorail was jammed full of people and it took a while to get air flowing. between the monorail and the elevator I was freaked out!:scared1: Has anything like this happend to anyone else?

um... major breakdowns??? not really, unless having Tower of Terror stop in the dark passage way when you are getting ready to drop is considered big.

Once Test Track broke down, and then Mission Space broke down twice.

I am always stopped on Hm, but that's about it.. I guess since I said that, everything will break own on me next time.. :rotfl: Have you ever wondered what would heppen if Tot broke down while you were going down and it fell all the way to the ground!? Scary stuff..lol. I completly trust Disney though!

Disney is very serious when it comes to safety. I know that the TOT can't fall for the ground, because it has way to many safety systems on it. This goes for all of Disney's rides. Test Track breaks down most of the time because of cars getting too close to each other, and the ride stops.

my last trip, HM stopped like 5 times during the ride, Space Ship earth stopped and we sat there for like a half an hour and then had to get out of the car, and we were on the first hill going up it, test track stopped for a little but it was fine, and mission sapce it took a little while to get on it, but there is always something wrong with that ride.

yes it happened to me! it was horrible I was on Haunted Mansion and we were going through the graveyard and it just stopped and all the ghosts were flying around and ghosts were popping out of jack boxes and graves and we were just stuck there in the dark hearing noises.

Spiderman in Islands of adventure broke down it just stopped at the beginning and the glasses :3dglasses weren't working

Rides like HM and Spaceship Earth sometimes have to be stopped in order to let people in wheelchairs on. You may think that the ride is breaking down, but usually it's the cast members just stopping it so someone who would have trouble getting onto a continuous ride can get on.

One time on Space Mountain, all of the lights went on as soon as the ride started. So, we rode the whole ride with lights. Then, right before the end of the ride, it stopped. We were stuck for at least a half hour before it started to move again.

On our last trip, the first day we were there EVERYTHING broke down! Haunted Mansion completely broke down, and they had to turn all the lights on and have CMs come help us out of our doombuggies and escort us out. Reeaally weird, especially seeing HM's special effects with the lights on. Suddenly a lot of disney magic for that ride was lost, lol. The plus side was that we each got cool special fastpasses that were useable once on any ride in the MK. :thumbsup2

Then Maelstrom broke down while we were riding it, and it took forever for them to get it running again. We half expected them to pull out the life boats and row us out, by the time it was over with. :rotfl:

Let's see...then Spaceship Earth broke down four times, and eventually closed for the rest of the day. And el Rio del Tempo (did I spell that right??) paused for a while. Plus the winne the pooh ride stalled a bit. It was such a weird day. :rotfl:

I was on Splash Mountain and It stopped for about 15 minutes and all I could say was thank God i didn't get stuck right before the drop

Once I had some dinoride break down. Our car completely stopped and we started going the other way! Scariest thing of my life. Eventually though, we started going the right way, and just in time too! The other car was approaching... FAST!

And I dunno if this counts, but a motorboat we rented at Disneyworld ran out of gas right when we were in the middle of the lake.... And a huge storm started. Rescue boats came and towed us. Pretty cool.

Lets see. The last time I went, me, my dad, and my sister got stuck on Mission Space for 45 minutes. and i got stuck on Test Track for like 30 minutes and then splash mountian and sooo many more. I like kill rides where ever i go. lol

I have never been through a malfunction at MK. Lucky me... :teeth:

Alot of people have had trouble with rides. I hope the next time I go none of these things happen to me.

spaceship earth broke for an hour so not sure about the wheelchairs

i was on the Buzz lightyear space ranger spin and it broke down the first and second time i was on it. Me and my brother took it as a chance to get more points bc my brother was losing against me, my mom, my dad and my grandma and grandad.

let's see we broke down twice on test track (first time we were in the tunnel next time it was just slowing down) and someone just Had to wake up George in PotC at the part before the drop (i hate that skeleton i haven't seen it since 2000!!)
