So, it turns out that I am going to be taking my two kids (ages 10 and 13) to Disney without my husband, due to our dog who has health issues. I don't have a problem with solo parenting (well, I do but that is for another thread!! haha) but I am wondering if others can share their experience with having 3 people for all the attractions. I am imagining that I will be going by myself on some rides, with my girls going together. Can anyone tell me which rides this will be an issue for? Thanks!

Both of your girls are old enough to ride alone by disney rules so it really doesn't matter. There isn't too many rides where 3 wouldn't sit together so it's going to come down to if you want to skip that ride and let them have some sister time or who is not going to sit solo but in the same car. It'll be the coasters(rnr, btmr, 7dmt, ee) and doom buggy/clamshell (haunted, little mermaid, nemo). Astro and space can also be included but they are single file seating so nobody will be next to someone.

edit: maybe some of the younger rides like dumbo and flying carpets as well. forgot about them.

I agree with Bryan. Regarding the Dumbo-type rides, some have 2 rows of seats (Aladdin, Triceratops spin) so you can all be in the same car, just not in the same seat. Depending on the sizes of the girls (and yourself), you can get 3 in a clam shell-type ride. Buzz Lightyear would be 2 only since there are only 2 guns per car. I seem to recall getting 3 on Peter Pan is pretty tough.

On any of them, though, you would just ride in 2 consecutive cars so you would board at virtually the same time and meet up when you get off at the end.
