I've just checked the archived park hours for the dates in Nov/Dec that we're going to be at DLP, and it looks like the park will be open until 7pm on the weekdays and 10pm on Saturday.. so we should definitely get to see some of the rides at night! Are they all open or do some of them close when it gets dark? Does anyone have any photos? I bet some of them look stunning when they're all lit up!

Because of Dreams, the rides in Fantasyland will typically close around one hour before the official park closing time, but all the rides in the other parts of the park will be open to ride until park close. Discoveryland looks great all lit up (lots of futuristic shapes and neon colours) and of course riding BTM in the dark is very special as you get to see a lot of the park lights while you are on the ride :goodvibes.

BTM in the dark is fab!

I done this on Tuesday for the first time and it was great :thumbsup2

This was the first trip I've seen the park in the dark and it was just gorgeous all lit up. My kids stayed out once for Dreams and were just gobsmacked at the park at night, they thought this was what they were staying up late for, they thought this was the "show":rotfl:

(Needless to say the were blown away by Dreams!)

also, teacups and Dumbo in the dark are great too (the chinese lanterns inside the roof of the teacups ride are all lit up at night, and you can see loads of the park from Dumbo at night too).

I can't wait! I think it'll be great to see everything all lit up. I'm like a big kid when it comes to colourful lights and so on ;)
