Rides advice

We are off in 3 weeks time (yay !!) .... my little girl (age 7) isn't that keen on "roller coaster" type rides (I think this stems from a ride when she was 4 that her Grandparents took her on (much too fast when she was much too young) ....

but she says she is looking forward to having a go in BTMR (we have watched this on YouTube and she thinks it looks great ! ... if she likes this (which I hope and pray she will) what would you recommend for her "next" coaster ride - something tame (ish) that won't scare her too much .. and then move on from there perhaps ...

Our plan is to gradually build her up into liking coasters and rids - coz next year we go to Florida

Any tips welcomed

Although Crush has mixed reviews I've asked DS and DD. They think the fact this has no inversions means this is the next coaster after BTM

Reidis right and after BTM the only one with no inversions is Crush but in my OWN opinion (and just mine lol) it is a lot scarier than BTM so i would see and ask her before.
And beware it is a LOT different than they show on the Disneyland Television in the hotels.

Thanks very much for the advice ..... I am hoping that she will love BTM and want to ride it again and again and again .... if we don't make it on any other rides than that is OK with me

She keeps saying she wants to ride it first - we saw some footage on YouTube and it looks like when you first climb up you get a bit wet (she was in fits of giggles .... she loves water flume rides but not roller coasters for some strange reason) !

So that is a result ..... maybe I should get a CM to chuck a bucket of water over us whenever we go on a ride so my DD will like it !

The only coaster I will ride at DLP is BTM and its taken a few visits to actually enjoy that rather than just tolerate it.
The first time I went on I hated it as it starts off by going underground and so it was so dark and I had no idea how long we would be in the tunnel for and I felt as tho I couldnt breathe.
Now I know its going to happen Im fine with it.

DD (8) loves BTM its her favourite ride. She tried Crush and R&R but hated both - but at least she tried them as I wont even do that
