Sorry to make another post about rider switch, but I got thinking about the fastpass part of it. Some people warned about the risk of planning say, a single fastpass for me for BTM.
In this scenario, let's say that my wife and daughter then fastpass "It's a Small World". But our intention is that I approach BTM with my FP (and entire family) and ask for a rider switch so that my wife can ride BTM with the rider switch pass. This would then get essentially a FP (the rider switch pass) for my wife for BTM, when she never had a FP for it initially.
It feels like I'm cheating the system, but really...what are we supposed to do? If we both fastpass BTM, my daughter is not going to get on something by herself and we can't go in a M&G with her without our own FP.
We'll have a 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son with us, neither of which will ride BTM. We're there for 10 days, so we feel like it's okay that we have a little fun too. The kids will get to do everything they want and some.
Has anyone been shot down trying this approach? I read that the Frozen ride, they could give you some issues. But using it there does seem like I would only be trying to cheat the system and others.
Has anyone had any problems doing this for "Flight of Passage"? With it being just a busy ride/tough FP, it again feels like they could give me some grief for only getting a fastpass for me or for just me and my daughter (if she wants to get on). Then my daughter gets on again with wife (who didn't have an initial fastpass for it). Wife and son could get a fastpass for say, meeting Mickey and Minnie for a M&G.
Sorry if this is a touchy area...and thanks!
