Rider Switch - IAJ, wait inside

Is there a way to do the rider switch but still have the kids that are too little experience the inside of the line on IAJ?

For Example: Mom, Dad, 4,4,5 go in the ride line, but only Dad and 5yo ride. Mom lets the 4,4 yo see the inside of the ride line, ride vehicles, etc. When Dad and 5 yo finish, they swap and Mom and 5yo ride while Dad takes 4,4 yo out of the line back outside.

The CM at the start of the line will measure the little ones and any one that is to short will not be allowed to enter the line. So unfortunately, the kids that do not meet the height requirement will not be able to see the queue.

Bummer, but I can understand why. This will help in setting expectations.
