Rider Switch & Fast Pass for group

Wanted to double check before I make my fastpass reservations.

If 2 familes (both with infant children) are travelling together, and I book fastpasses together as a group, can we do 2 rider switches, or would it only be 1 for the party?

I want to make sure that there isn't a strategy that i'm missing by splitting the group into 2 separate parties with overlapping fastpass windows to make sure that we can get both rider switches.

Just have each family approach the cast member at the line entrance with the babies and they will give each family one.

In theory you could get two, but do you really need two? How many people are staying behind and how many want to ride the second time?
