Rider Switch during EMH?

We are headed down in a week staying onsite and hoping to take advantage of EMH. Priorities are SDD and FoP but will they offer rider switch during EMH? Our son does not meet the height requirement for either ride but our daughter, my husband and myself would all like to ride. It seems like I remember from a prior trip being refused a rider switch during EMH.

We've only tried it once, at Expedition Everest, and were refused by the CM at the entrance. The family behind me succeeded in getting one at boarding though. Consistency!
