Hello! According to Disney's site, only 2 people can ride with the Rider swap ticket now. It was 3 when we were there in March, and my friend says even in June.

Has anyone been to the parks this month- July- to confirm if this is true? Thank you! We have 3 children, and if only 1 is able to ride twice, we may run into conflict- or neither of them will get to to save our sanity, but that means crabby kids!

The Disney site is wrong (about so many things.**)

Nothing has changed with Rider Swap.

**For instance, the site says that park buses start running an hour before the park opens.
This has not been true for decades (if it ever was.)

Thank you! My travel agent had also worded it this way, so I'm very happy to hear it hasn't changed.

Speaking of buses- when do they start running?!

Is it possible the site contains official policy, while CMs and/or their managers have discretion to be more generous? In both these cases, the result is more beneficial to the consumer.

No the paper swap pass they give you says up to 3 guests.

Nope. The website is just incorrect. The website also says that rider switch is intended for people who don't want to ride, not just for those who are too short. That's also completely incorrect. CMs are trained to follow official policy.

Though to be fair...sometimes bad information is repeated here on the DIS as well.
But I agree, the website has errors. CM's also sometimes give out mis-information.
