RideMax Users Thread (FAQs Linked in First Post!)

I was only able to use my plans for 2 days of last week do to changes in our schedule. AK was packed and we were through with everything earlier than expected (probably due to the park opening early that day). It worked like a charm and we had extra time to do other things as well.

At Epcot on Friday it was the same situation. We completed future world ahead of schedule (we also were let in early and taken to ride Soarin' 4 times in a row).

I was also amazed at the accuracy of the wait times. I had been concerned that the fast passes might be out by the time we were to collect some but that wasn't a problem either.

After HS added a Fantasmic at 10pm....it seemed to through off my plans!

I re-did my plan and now it says "too many"? Can this be because it anticipates a bigger crowd now that the extra show has been added?

Jewelmicky, Yes that is probably what the case is. Disney is not going to add an extra F! unless they feel that the crowds are going to justify it. They will have a better idea then anyone since they know what the resort bookings are for a particular week. Disney does not release this information to the public. So when they do add a F! show I can bet it will be more crowded.

All the more reason to use RideMax.

A Sunday question.

We are planning to visit AK on Sunday, May 3rd. I'm not sure what day & date I should put in to substitute that Sunday.

Should I put in Tuesday the 5th or Thursday the 7th?

We'll be there the same day :thumbsup2! I'm using Saturday, May 2nd. I figured that Saturday and Sunday crowds should be similar, and AK is one of the recommended parks for both days. HTH!--Katie

Thanks for the info!

I just got RideMax a few days ago and I'm still trying to feel my way around.

Per my earlier post about scheduling errors I was getting for evening attractions in Future World, Mark confirmed that you need to be aware that only some of the Future World attractions stay open for the full Epcot hours (9am-9pm in the summer).....those would be the headliner rides like TT, Soarin', and MS. A number of the others SE, JII, UofE, HISTK usually close around 7pm....plan accordingly.....

Anyone else having trouble with the Little Mermaid at DHS? When I try and include it in my plans it says that there is not enough time in my day to do it... I have tried taking out most attractons and it still won't go through...

Anyone know why this is?

Thanks!

Just downloaded & I'm playing around with it. Seems really cool so far and VERY detailed which is what someone like me loves. :goodvibes

Can you be more specific about what day, start time, end time and what other attractions you are putting in?

Shows often have different hours then the rest of the park. Just like not everything is open at FutureWorld in EP.

Too add what Dave said-- you might want to click under "options" and then find the parade and show times tab. Take a look at what times it is showing and then go from there-- also if you've ever picked a specific show time for it to use, it sometimes "remembers" that-- so you need to make sure that you've got it set up so that it will choose the show time for you (it should say something like "any show" next to the show times rather than list a specific time). I hope that helps! --Katie

I was finally able to get the Little Mermaid to go in after I took some things out and then just started adding them back in one by one..

One thing that was really throwing a wrench into the production was the early fantasmic show. When I took that out I was able to put in a lot more activities. I still want to see fantasmic and I have the dinner package for it so I'm not sure yet if I will stick to the early show or go to the late show.

I'm trying to plan around Morning EMH at DHS. I have not added TSM into my plan but I'm wondering if I can get a fast pass for TSM and ride it, all in one hour. Also if we were some of the first to get FP when would our return time likely be therefore opening up a new FP option. Thanks. It is so much fun planning with ridemax!

Since RM does not support EMHs other then the morning at MK, we are all kind of free forming here.

During late March when we did our morning EMH we got TSM FP, rode TSM, rode Tot, rode RnRc in the first 2 hours of the day. We could have ridden TSM using the FP in this time too. Instead we went to OMD and ST before the 11:30 Indy show. Then we used our TSM FP and headed to EP for lunch.

We've got the dining package too, I've had pretty good luck by telling the program that I want to get in line for my last ride at 7:00 or 7:15pm-- Our showing starts at 8:30, so I figure we'll need to be there by 7:45 for the dining package. HTH! --Katie

Does anyone know if they've got the June info up yet? I'm trying to run some plans for our trip in early June and last I checked, it wasn't up yet.

Quick question.. if RM expires for me on May 2nd....does that mean I can still use it on that day will it be gone starting at 12:01am? Just curious. Thanks.

I have my RM all printed up and ready to go for our week's trip starting tomorrow! Can't wait to test out RM at the World. It worked like such a charm at DLR, so it will be fun to use it again.

:cool1:

I talked with Mark about "upgrading" to the full year. He said to purchase the full year and let him know by email. Then he would back date the full year till when you started your 90 day sub and refund the amount of the 90 days sub.

Has anybody actually brought a laptop with them and made plans while they were there? We're hoping to try this for the last few days of our trip (since it's our first trip, we're not sure which parks we will want to revisit, etc). We're bringing my laptop, and DH's Blackberry, which can work like a modem to the laptop. Then, we will probably just hand write down the plans for the day. Just wondering if anyone's tried this yet and has any tips. --Katie
