Ridemax reviews?

I'm still trying to decide whether to buy it or not! We will be in the parks June 16 - 18 (Sun - Tues). The park hours are out now for all my days except the 18th, so I'm tempted to try it out. I just can't decide since they don't have plans for Sunday's although people have said they used Saturday in place of Sunday and it has worked out.

We just used it last week and it was amazing! Got us through everything on our list with time to spare.

I think you should buy it. It's only $15 and a vacation to DLR cost thousands of dollars! Well, at least for my family. 6 of us. Anyway, it's just a tiny fraction of the price of your trip. I haven't read one bad thing about it. Except that some people feel to restricted by it. I would rather feel that way over waiting in long lines with my 4 and 6 year olds. Plus, we don't come to DLR often. I don't know when we'll be back so I want every second to count. For me, it was worth risking $15.

Also, you will love playing with it. I've spent hours putting different scenarios. It's so fun!

Will be purchasing it for sure. If it works, great. If not its no big loss. Travelling from Australia it's worth a shot to make our experience the best it can be.

I have used both ride max and touring plans for years. I started ride max and loved loved loved it. Then touring plans started to allow you to do the same thing, plug in what you want and kick out a plan, specific to you. This year I bought them both again like I have for almost 5 Tyra's, 10 years for ridemax. Anyway, at this point and with my experience this year I have to say go with touring plan. My problem with ride max, is that the calander can be very very very slow coming. Years ago they had the calander 6 weeks out. As the years went down, it gets to be a smaller indow. I had to write them just last week, we leave in less than 2 weeks and the calander was not out yet, when you have 8 days of plans you want and tweaking them, I need to be able to play for a while on a weekend. We now leave in 5 days, and this past weekend was the only weekend I had to play with it, and I just did not have time. The other problem I had, was they were always real friendly. When you emailed them and thanked you for your support and continued patronism, this time when I emailed, all I got was an email a few days later saying you probably noticed but calander is up. Now that touring plan does the same thing, and is cheaper, I would go with them.

I just decided on a whim to try it. I am not really a touring plan type of person, but if I can avoid some of the lines on 2 of our days which are supposed to be busy, I'll try it. So, I paid the $15 and they won't even allow me to select my dates It goes to May 9 and I need it for May 11 and on. Hopefully it will be up soon!

We've been to DLR three times - each time for the week between Christmas and New Year's. RideMax has saved us every time! Last time I went with my entire extended family of 26. We hit everything we wanted to and then some.

We're going again in about six months (but there are 31 of us now!) and I'll buy it again. UNLESS they are slow on the calendars. Then I'll probably just stay with Touring Plans.

I know this is an older thread, but how was the walking? Is there an option to minimize walking? We will be going stroller free for the first time and don't want to be criss crossing all day, even if it does save time overall.

You can select normal or slow. And then you can also select

• Our group will send a runner to obtain FASTPASS

• Our runner is willing to skip the following attractions while obtaining FASTPASSes for our group.

Hope that helps. I'm using for the first time first week in March.

Yes, it offers a slow option. We were also always ahead of the times they said, so there's plenty of time. We often sent my husband as the fastpass runner. We always met him at the ride, so he didn't miss out. It just allowed us to take a bit more time to enjoy the walk.

I've used Tour Guide Mike's subscription for WDW several times and loved it. Anyone use it for Disneyland? How does it compare with Ridemax?

Nevermind, I now see Mike's website was taken down last year. Darn!
How about TouringPlans?
