On their Facebook page a little while ago, Ridemax announced that their plans would now treat BTMRR as a disconnected FP. They said you can obtain a BTMRR FP regardless of other FPs you are holding.

I am driving down to DL right now for a quick visit to DLR and will test and post pictures as soon as I can. Has anyone else experienced this?

If true, it would be helpful during busy times!

Who knows.

But if I were to guess, BTMRR would be the next attraction to loose FP all together. It's only needed and available on a few occasions.

Are there many of these disconnected fastpass rides? I didn't know there were any that worked like that.

It'd be so cool if this were true!

I'm eager to hear the results! BTMRR is one ride that I like more and more every time I ride it. On my last trip I rode it about 6 times - both day and night - and I dare say it might be overtaking Space for top coaster in Disneyland for me! Screamin' at night might have to win for both parks combined, however.

I love BTMRR too! It's so amazing at night and extra-great during the holiday season. The lights from the Roundup are pretty to see as you're zipping along the tracks. And at night the bats and cavern appear brighter. :) We ride BTMRR several times per day on each trip!

Well I asked one of our members who is there right now and just used her BTMRR FP, she says it not disconnected.

That's what I assumed but I do wonder why Ridemax said that on their FB page. I went online to check out what the OP said and it's right there on their wall.

This would be interesting, but why would they do it? I mean, it kind of defeats the purpose of FP to have disconnected attractions. I've only seen BTMRR FP up a handful of times, though I don't usually go when it's crowded.

IT WORKS! My phone isn't letting me upload pics, but I got an Indy FP at 7:14pm and a BTMRR FP at 7:18. Shouldn't have been able to get a FP until 8:30pm.

I wonder if the other person was having trouble with the FP machines. Two FP machines were down at Indy and three were down at BTMRR. We had to try every FP machine, but it did spit out the FP when we got a working machine.

One user on FB is reporting that a CM told them (how's that for 3rd hand information? :goodvibes) it has been disconnected for about a month.

Well I'll be! :) Thanks for your research! :)

Looking at the next FP available information on both pictures, does it mean that at 7:55 pm you could get another one for BTMRR but you would have to wait until 8:30 pm if you want to get another one for a different ride?

I am pretty sure that yes, I could get a BTMRR FP sooner than a FP on the "connected" system. Like with Roger Rabbit.

Interesting...I wonder why my friend said it is connected but then you were able to get FPs while you had them for Indy......I'll have her check it again. LOL I know she'd love to be able to do this!
