Going next week, should I subscribe to this?

I would; I know I'm going to and try it out on one day and then I can decide the rest of the week if I want to use it again or not

It's very much worth it, in my opinion. Especially for busy times like summer/the holidays!

Can someone fill me in please? What is ridemax?

Ridemax is a website where you can make a custom itinerary for your day at Disneyland or California Adventure. Basically, you plug in the times you're arriving, eating meals, taking breaks, and leaving, plus all the rides and shows that you want to ride/see. Then it'll give you a schedule of when to go on each ride/see each show, to minimize time spent waiting in line. I don't know how they do it, but the website owners somehow gauge what the wait times will be on a given day. It's very helpful, especially for when you visit the Park during summer/the holidays/the "on" season.

The wait times listed in a Ridemax itinerary are surprisingly accurate. Some lines will be a little longer and some a little shorter than estimated but overall it works quite well. In my experience, it's a little conservative, which means if you're not lolly-gagging between rides you can typically do a little more than what will be listed in the itinerary.
