I am going to DL on Friday July 20th (non ee day). Ridemax is telling me to go straight to Nemo as soon as the park opens and I will have a 12 minute wait. Does that seem realistic? I am seeing people reporting waits in the hours - could it really be only 12 minutes less than a month from now?

Get to the park early, at least 1/2 hour before opening. When you get in the park go straight to Nemo. Do not window shop, use the bathroom, rent a stroller or stop for a fast pass. YOu should be near the front of the line and will get on pretty quick. If you make even one stop or are not at the gate when they open it, 100's of people could be in line by time you get there.

I think 12 minutes is definitely off. We had a long line at the gates, and were at Nemo (non ee day) within 10 minutes and had to wait almost 3 hours on Wednesday. Definitely get to the gates early, but I think you would be waiting at least 30 minutes.

I should have also said- check ridemax closer to trip time. They actually base their wait times on experience. They are really guessing at this point what the wait will be. If you check it again a day or two before you go the wait time will be more accurate.

I Was Curious About Yesterday (6/17) At Opening. It Is A Non Ee Morning Opening At 8am. We Are Doing Nemo On The 24th (sunday) For This Reason.

RideMax people were at DL over the last week and collected data on Nemo, PLATSI, etc., and they just updated their itineraries to reflect that data. I just double-checked RideMax on July 20 and they are saying 12 minutes for Nemo as you noted. If you follow their advice to get there 30 minutes early and walk straight to the subs on a non EE day I think RideMax is trustworthy here. This is how they make their living.

Thanks to you all for the replies. We are going to get to the park by 7:30 and as soon as the rope drops we will go straight to Nemo - we'll see how it goes (fingers crossed!).
