If we want to ride swap (one adult sitting out with the 2 yo and sometimes 4 yo) while the other adult rides with the other 2-3 kids... when it's time to swap, do all 2-3 kids get to ride again?

I would like to know the answer to this with 1 child. When we go we will have our 7yo who can ride everything but RnR and PW. When the 1st parents gets in line and rides with him and they get back off - will he be able to ride with the 2nd parent as well or does the 2nd parent have to ride alone ?

In the case of one child, I know the parent gets to go with the child the second time. I'm just not sure if they allow it for more than one child.

For most ride swap/parent swap rides, you get a fast pass for UP TO 3 guests. So if you have Mom going on with 2 kids, she comes off and Dad gets to take BOTH kids on!

Check with the CM before you ride, either via fastpass or standby, as they vary in the way they handle the childswap.

Generally speaking you all enter the line (even the non-rider) and tell the CM you want to use the childswap. The CM will give you a paper slip just like a fastpass good for up to 3 riders, for that ride anytime that day. The first party rides while "Mom" and the non riding child do something else. Then mom rides with up to two others, its nice because neither parent has to ride alone and the kiddos get to ride with both parents. I can't tell if you have 2,3 or 4 kids but if its 3 or 4 then they will have to take turns as the childswap pass is good for 3 people total.

A quick search here can tell you more than you need to know about childswap!!

We've been able to take multiple children when doing the swapping. :)

We have four kids. One will be too small for most the rides that we would swap on, the other is 42 inches, so he may be able to do a few of them. In that case, we'd have one adult, 3 kids... so unfortunately, it looks like one of the kids won't get to ride twice in those cases... bummer!

We just got back from a trip w/ 4 kids, DD16, DS12, DS9 and DD2. On most rides with child swap, we were only able to take 2 of the kids on the second trip, but there were some, like Star Tours at MGM that all three kids were able to go on. Of course, we had a couple that the 9 year old didn't want to ride either, so for the most part it worked out really well! :flower:

Yep your 42" child will be able to ride everything except space mtn, rock n roller and primeval whirl. Although he/she may choose not to ride a few like TOT!

Hopefully you can come up with a plan ahead of time to deal with the odd number if it happens. Maybe even have one or two children ride with mom and the others ride with dad to keep things fair.
