Ride swap question

We will be traveling with a fairly large group. 2 of us will have kids that dont meet the height requirements. When we make our fast pass for the whole group , will we all go through the same line and just be able to swap right at the ride or will we need to get ride swap tickets and wait outside while one part of the party goes on the ride and then we go on it. I would assume we could get two ride swap passes for the two groups. Some say we could actually not waste fast passes since we will get the ride swap. That seems a bit complicated for this group so I think we are ok with not trying to have more than the 3 passes and just riding swapping and letting a few kids get to ride twice. I hope I am making sense as I sense I am rambling

kids not making height requirement will not be allowed in line so part of group will get in line after showing CM at beginning of line child/ren that are too short to get the rider swap pass. not sure how you would you can get 2 passes.

A child that does not meet the height requirement will not be allowed in the queue. One party will ride and when they're finished, the next party will enter the queue to ride.

When you enter the line (either standby or FP) you will need to show the CM the child and in turn will receive a rider swap ticket. Once you get off the ride you provide the waiting party with that ticket so they can enter the ride through the Fast Pass line.

Each person holding a too-short child will approach the CM at the FP entrance and ask for a Rider Switch Pass.

They wait outside while the rest of the group rides. (This is a good time for a snack. Some rides have a play area nearby.)

When the group exits 8 people (3 per RS pass, plus the two adults with unused FPs-- if you're still within your time window) can go back through the FP entrance.

To answer your other question, yes if you just had say two parents, one tall child, and one infant, you could maximize your FPs and RS passes, but it would really be complicated in a large group and some people would likely not wind up riding. It would be easier to just stick to the one set of FPs for everyone and then use the RS.
