Are there any ride/attraction strategies that are particular to one ride/attraction? Anything that is useful to know when approaching the ride? Our family of 8 will be at Universal in January and span a big age group so tips for all types will be useful.

If you like Buzz, you'll love MIB more. Seeing as you go in six on the ride, I suggest if the lines not to big que all together.. However, you can get on as many times as you like for 0 minutes if you use Single riders. You'd get split up in the normal que anyway..
:yay:

arrive at the gates about 30 min prior to opening
For IOA we hit the rides in this order

Hulk
Spiderman
ptedron flyers
DD
Flying Unicorn

If we are ready to get wet we then hit the water rides
If Seuss Landing is opening later than the rest, we can usually hit all of the above before it opens

For US we usually hit Jimmy Neutron right away. It tends to get packed quick
depending on our mood we then hit shrek or ROTM (then which ever one we didn't do first)
Chdck the posted waiting times and head either to ET or MIB then the other.

That usually gets the higher demand stuff out of the way before the parks fill up
Last trip it was Just DD and I in mid June, and we could hit our favs in both parks by noon. then she could spend a lot of time playing in the kids areas. She can never wait until she gets tall enough for a thrill ride, but she still loves the play areas at universal

When riding MIB, Hulk & DD, be sure to put your belongings in a locker BEFORE entering the line....you'll be told to go do, so, may as well do it beforehand. (the lockers are around the ride area...just have to look for 'em :teeth: )

you also have to store you stuff for ROTM

There free and stuff but they have finger scanners. And if you have never used them before, make sure not to embarass yourself by trying to press the green button to open it thinking it has a finger sensor.. :cool1:
