Ok, so we are hitting all 4 parks on a 3 day park hopper and will have our 2 1/2 year old son with us. What rides at the parks are good for his age and dh and I may like too?? Like I was wondering if he can go on soarin, the safari ride at AK, etc.. Any ideas on what we can all go on together at each park would be very appreciated! :cool1:

HI WE JUST WENT TO WDW IN JUNE AND HAD A GREAT TRIP WITH OUR 15 MONTH OLD SON AND 8 YEAR OLD SON. AT ANIMAL KINGDOM WE ALL WENT ON THE SAFARI RIDE, WENT TO THE TARZAN AND FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING SHOW-DON'T MISS IT-IT WAS GREAT!!! THERE AREN'T A WHOLE LOT OF RIDES AT AK...AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM, DON'T MISS ITS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL, WINNIE THE POOH RIDE, PETER PANS FLIGHT, DUMBO ...YOUR LITTLE ONE WILL LOVE THESE AND SO WILL YOU!!!! DON'T MISS JUNGLE CRUISE, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, HAUNTED MANSION, THESE WERE OUR PERSONAL FAVORITE RIDES AT MAGIC KINGDOM.....I COULD GO ON AND ON...YOU WILL FING MOST RIDES AT MAGIC KINGDOM OK TO GO ON WITH YOUNG CHILD!!!! OF COURSE, SOME RIDES LIKE THE ROLLER COASTERS AND SPLASH MOUNTAIN HAVE HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS-YOU AND DH CAN DO THE BABY SWITCH IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU CAN'T MISS THE BIG THRILLER RIDES. BUT ALL IN ALL, THE MAGIC KINGDOM IS GEARED MOSTLY TO THE LITTLE ONES. IT WAS OUR FAVORITE PARK AND DEVOTED 2 DAYS TO IT AND AK ONE DAY. DID SEAWORLD ON DAY 4. HAD SUCH A MAGICAL TRIP WE ARE GOING IN SEPTEMBER AND THIS TIME STAYING AT ALL STAR SPORTS!!! :earsboy:

There is plenty to do.. You've never been - I think your being agressive. 4 parks in 3 days is (esp with a 2yo) is going to be tough. Our last trip we had 4 days - didn't go into epcot and still didn't see every main attraction.. With a 2 YO, I would say to start with Magic Kingdom - And parts of AK and MGM (playhouse disney, muppets).

Have fun....

We've gone with a 2 year old & 18 month old. MY DD's rode everything that did not have a height requirement and they did great.

We prepared them for rides that we thought might be frightening like Snow White, Haunted Mansion or Pirates. We told them when there would be dark parts to the ride. We kind of made everything fun. For example, we made it a game to find all the ghosts in Haunted Mansion. We tried to scare them before they scared us ;) . This worked great. They did really well and never seemed afraid or cried.

With all this being said every child is different, so you are the best judge. I would advice to go on a nice tame dark ride first like Small World before Snow White. So they are familiar with how the rides are.

Thanks guys! Yeah I know it is going to be hard to do disney on a 3 day pass but the deal we got from our TA had great prices on a 3 day hopper and a 4 day would have been 100 more so we are gonna try our best. I mainly want to do MK and Epcot then split the 3rd day between AK and MGM. I hope I am making the right choice..

So anyone know about Soarin? We want to do that but can a 2 year old ride?

Any sites or anything that tell about the attractions??

No, there is a height requirement for Soarin', your little one won't be able to make it. That said, I don't think you should miss it. Ask for a baby swap pass!

We didn't find a lot at Epcot to do last year for our 2 yr old. Thank goodness she slept around the world (DH and I were able to sample the food and wine booths). We did the living seas - cute Nemo attraction. So you may not spend as much time there as you think. We did most of the rides at MK that didn't have a height requirement (except HM, Pirates - too dark for our dd). She loved AK the most (but she loves animals) so we spent a lot of time doing the safari and in dino land. At MGM we did the mermaid, B&B, great movie ride, playhouse disney (x3). Honestly, she had more fun running around and looking at stuff. And if there was any water or misting things, she was in heaven. Have fun!!

We took our 16 month old last Jan and will be going again when she is 2 in September. I agree with the last poster that there is not much for your little one to do at Epcot. DD really liked MGM and we will do AK this time.
