But I am cracking up cause the guy with the jacket over his shoulder in the "fashion" picture look like my Dad! The blond at the back almost looks like my Mom. But I bet a lot of people could say that about those stylish looks.
I love those pics, also. I was there in 1973 for my Jr Hi grad night, and 1976 for High school grad night. I remember that we had specific dress codes to follow. In 1973, I made myself a seersucker plaid pant suit to wear.
Thanks for posting that site! My first DL trip was in 1978 and yep it looked like that. I showed my kids and they were like, "wow, it was really cheesy looking back then!" I'm sure I recognized all the changes after the Fantasyland update in 1983 (was going yearly by then) but that was a loooonnnnng time ago!
Great to see how Disney continually updates their parks! I so remember the tickets. I even have my mostly empty ticket book from that first trip to DL!
The 1983 Fantasyland remodel definitely changed its location. The old photo in the Yesterland shot is cool. I remember it that way, but prefer it the current way. I wish they would redo WDW's Fantasyland, too!
