With the new memory maker, how will they know that I am eligible to have the ride photos put on my magic band? Before you handed them the photopass + lanyard and they put it on, but now, how will they know?
I like it SO much better than the lanyard! How does it work with linked family members? My Mom bought the Memory Maker, and we're all linked on MDE. Can I scan my band at RnRC even though she didn't ride and still have it go on the Memory Maker?

Just make sure that in everyone's MDE account, they have given permission to "share photos". It's a different checkbox than the one for sharing and managing plans. DH's wasn't checked by default, so all the pictures he had scanned to his band (mostly ride photos when he wasn't with me) were not showing up in my MM download. Once I went into his account and made that change, they were all there.

What do you mean by everyone's MDE account? For example I have set up the MDE account for my family and added everyone. So therefore there is only one account, correct? Or am I missing something?

Would I be able to do this since my band is linked on my mother's account, because we're Family/Friends and photo sharing has been enabled? Or not, because it has to be a band linked to her personally (my Mom is the "owner" of the Memory Maker)?
I thought that one of the actual advantages of the MBs and the longer range RFID is that pictures are automatically linked to your MB/MM+ account while you are riding. Isn't the MB scanned during the ride and the photo automatically linked to your account? That seems to me to be a big selling point of the MBs, that you wouldn't have to go to the photo desk at the end of the ride to get your photo.
