Anyone used either of these? They both have iPhone apps now. I have a Mac so I couldn't use the Touring Plan except on my phone.

Thanks!

Ride Max is much better for Disneyland Resort. Touring Plans uses simple data and doesn't seem to consider unique things which effect crowds at DLR.

Thanks for the info! RideMax is also a little friendlier to Mac users.

I downloaded MouseWaits just in case. One can never have too many Disney apps. LOL

The wife loves RideMax. She uses it to plan a schedule for our days at the parks. We do a lot more than any of our friends ever do and we take our time doing it. :cool1:

I've never used either. I have a Droid and I have Mouse Wait and Disney Parks apps and I use those, but I don't use ride max or touring plans.

I found RideMax to be really helpful on our last trip. My mom was using an ECV, and we were taking our 2.5-year old DD on her first trip. I wanted to pretty much guarantee making the most effective use of the pre-nap hours, when everyone would be fresh and full of energy. It worked great! Even on a couple of busy days, we got in everything we wanted, and then some. I'm not sure it's necessary for truly slow times, but it was very helpful on our weekend days.

My husband is more of a go-with-the-flow guy, and didn't really want to do a schedule, but when he saw how well it worked and how we were basically able to walk onto ride after ride, he was a convert.

Thanks for all the replies! I'm going to try RideMax.

I just remembered I invited my family to come up for the day. Might have to change some setting (slower pace yet we could have a FastPass runner).

Touring plans is far more accurate for Disney World but not so much for Disneyland. Ridemax seems better for Disneyland.

I also use m.disneyland.go.com which is Disney's own website for mobile smartphones. Has park hours, show times, wait times, restaurants and more. Very good and easy to use and free.
