We just did a quick trip in the first part of April. I noticed something on this trip, there were a lot of things not working within rides. In Snow White the Evil Queen did not work. On Indiana Jones the snake was broken and on one ride through the boulder section didn’t work and went dark. A few other rides had similar issues with animatronics not working correctly or just in disrepair.
We have been to DLR enough that this did not “ruin” our experience. There are people that come only once in a lifetime and this would not be the experience they deserve. I am okay with price increases but it seems like the money should be going into repairs. Just wondering if we had an isolated experience or if this is becoming the norm.

There's always something that breaks down somewhere. I can say on my trip a week ago, Indy seemed to be working fine, including the boulder. I didn't notice a lot of individual elements broken, but Splash Mountain and Pooh had significant down time where they were completely closed. There were some power issues in Toon Town too that affected several showings of Mickey and the Magical Map (and man I love that show!). It does stink when there are broken elements like that and I agree that they should always be doing the upkeep. Sometimes it is amazing how long they will let something stay broken!

Hmm...the snake in Indy was broken the whole week at the end of March. We rode pretty much every day 6 days in a row ;-) I wonder if it has been stopped permanently to make the ride less scary or something?

The snake wasn't working on Easter.

To the OP: I had a visit where something seemed broken on almost every ride. My husband and I both said we didn't want to go to DL ever again. We got over it, but it seemed like DL was going downhill and nobody cared. Pretty remarkable that they can have so many broken elements at one time. Perhaps we wouldn't have noticed if we only visited that one day.
