In Ebcot there is a ride called "Body Wars" that jerks your body around so much that I had to close my eyes during the entire ride just to keep down the lunch I recently had. The ride does not really take you anywhere. You just sit in this seat that never stops moving and jerking as you watch these things on a screen in front of you. My husband kept his eyes open and told me I did not miss much. He felt the same as I did. It was not a pleasant experience at all. Not thrilling. I could not wait for it to end. The thrusting and jerking was constant, no let up! Any hoo  , are there rides like that at Universal, or Island of Adventure???
Are there rides we should avoid? We are normally not that weak in the tummy, but just don't want our bodies thrown around quite that much again.

You are probably talking about Body Wars at Epcot. At Universal you would probably want to avoid Bact to the Future and maybe Hanna Barbera (sp?). Both are motion simulator type rides. although the Hannah Barberra ride is not nearly as intense or jerky as BTTF. I can only handle BTTF once during during a trip - so I can say I did everything. But it makes me kinda' queasy. We almost lost one member of our party for the day after that ride last year. Fortunately he rebounded after a while.

Have fun on all the other attractions!

I went on Body Wars on January 3, 2001, and I mark that as the VERY LAST TIME I go on that ride!

It is THE worse of the "nausea" rides. I literally had to sit down for about a half an hour afterwards. They took another man out on a stretcher!

I've never had this experience at any ride in USF/IOA. Granted HB and BTTF do shake you up a bit but they are nothing like Body Wars. My biggest problem with BTTF is that I cannot sit in the right side in the back because of my shoulder. I had surgery on it 2 years ago and the only time I was reminded of was in that particular side of the ride. Now that I avoid that seat I have no problem with the ride.
