Where can I find these so I can let my kids know what they will be able to get on? Also, what rides can you take a baby on (6 months)? Thanks!

That link let's you put in your child's height and then tells you what your child isn't able to ride. Also, a 6 month old can ride basically anything without any height restrictions. So basically put in her 25 inches or however tall she is and it will list all the rides wtih any height restriction and that's what she can't ride. I'm taking my daughter in 3 weeks and she'll be 11 weeks old and she'll be riding everything without a height restriction, except maybe Astro Orbiters and the Teacups since I'm not sure how much she'd like all that spinning. After all, she won't be able to tell me if she is getting dizzy.

I would keep the new born off of dumbo and aladdin as well--they spin just like the orbitor--don't let the elevator ride fool you.

As long as the 6 month old can sit up--she would be fine in the rides that "go in circles" except maybe teacups. We were in DL Paris--and they actually suggest that noone under 1 ride the orbitor or dumbo. Not sure why.

Yes, you're right they do spin. I guess Orbiter just seems worse since I always feel like I'm going to fall out when I ride it. Also, I think the Indy Speedway is one we'll stay away from too since I always end up getting bumped on that.

I was wondering if they fudge on the height requirements a little, making the stick a little taller than then 48 inches to account for shoes?? My son who is 5 has been waiting his whole life to be 48 inches and now with shoes on he is. It is exact but still 48 and he will be crushed if he gets to a ride and they say he's not.
Wanted to prepare him in advance if this was the case.

I cant speak for the rest of the park nor coaster currently but when I was there there was a few centimeters space in the height requirementn there to account for shoes and really not 48"-

Personally I wouldnt let my son ride till he was 50" so there wasnt any "but I already rode...." thing that happens alot with borderline kids- All the signs are millimeters difference and sometimes those millimeters can make a difference...

Does anyone know approximately how tall the average 6 year old girl is? My cousin is coming with us and her mom said she thinks she might be 40 inches, but my niece is 2.5yo and 38 inches and my cousin definitely looks more than 2 inches taller than her. My guess was around 44 inches, but when I read that WhenUwishUponAstar's 5 yo son is 48 inches in shoes I thought maybe she's taller than 44 inches. They live out of state so I won't see her till we all arrive in Disney, but she keeps asking me what she can ride (she's a little thrillseeker) and I don't want to tell her she's tall enough for a ride when she's not. She is a very skinny 40 pounds and wears about a size 6 in clothes. Any guesses?

thanks em- I was afraid of that, better to know now then when we get there.

If it helps justthat my son will be 6 June 8th and seems to be on the tall side for his age. (compared to his 22 classmates he's the 3rd tallest and none of the girls are his height, and he's also the youngest.

We were there in January and my DD, who I think is a little tall for her age, was 48"...barely. We told her she might get on a ride, might not. The might let her on at the bottom and she might not make the cut when they re-check before you board. The only problem we had was at Primeval Whirl in AK. The CM refused us. We just waited until she wasn't on duty anymore, went back on, rode it twice. At Rocknrollercoaster, she was known by one CM as the "little daredevil". We've already prepared her for next May that she won't be tall enough for all the rides at Universal...she really thinks she needs to ride "The Hulk". Luckily, I don't think she will grow 6" between now and then!

You'll just have to have her mom actually stick her against the wall and measure her. Have her make sure she isn't tilting the pencil when making a little mark on the wall. I will sometimes hold a ruler on top of the head and make sure it is level, if not pointing down a little and make the mark on the bottom side of the ruler. My kids love getting measured and my 4yo constantly talks about how tall he is and what rides he can go on. He needs to grow an inch and a half before October if he is going to go on Mission to Space and Space Mt. He's 4yo and 42" without shoes, BTW.

My kids are about average hight. When my daughter was 4 1/2 she was too sort to ride Space Mountain by about an inch. SO She was about 43". She just turned 8 in Jan and is 51 1/2" and like I said she is about "average" I would say the average 6 YO girls is around 47-48". My son who will be turning 4 next month is 41 1/2".

My 7.5 yo dd is 47.5 inches, very thin, and in a size 7slim for jeans.

I hope that helps! We are planning on going in Nov- so I am hoping she grows a good inch by then. LOL!
