Ride & FP strategy.

I'll be at DLR on Sun 4/20 (w/o MM) & Mon. 4/21 (till 1 or 2pm) with DS 9.

We'll be at the parks (approx.) on Sunday:

DL - 8am - 10:30am. (We won't have MM)
DCA - 10:30am - 2ispm
rest 2pm - 5pm
DL - 5pm till 11pm. (Note - might stop in DCA from 5 - 6pm)

On monday:

DL - 9am - 11:30am
DCA - 11:30am - 2pm (then to the airport)


- What are the two best times (& days) to do Storybookland?

- On Sunday is it best to get a Soarin' FP first or a Screamin' FP first. ? (Assuming i try to get both).

- Do you think Matterhorn/Alice would be mobbed at 8am Sunday? Best to do the left side of the park first?

- When would you do Pirate's Lair?

You know, hopefully this isn't blasphemy, but I have never gone on this.

I would think CS, myself. It's the only ride in DCA that we have personally seen run out of FP's.

- Do you think Matterhorn/Alice would be mobbed at 8am Sunday? Best to do the left side of the park first?
It stands to reason that the MM guests will be in that area of the park, unless they complete everything in their hour. I would head to the other areas first. You can do FL first thing Monday imo.

- When would you do Pirate's Lair?
I don't know, but I will be anxious to hear what people think. We haven't seen this yet.

Monday at opening. It is not open for MM on Sunday, but parents with MM entry will be waiting for it to open and will have an advantage over you in getting in line. Any time past opening, in my experience, has a a long, painful wait.

Can't help you too much here, as I have never seen either run out. You could get Screamin ones first and try going on Soarin through the Single rider line.
Could you send one member of your family to Screamin and the other to Soarin? Have each person check the return time for their ride and call each other on cell phones to get the FP for the one with the earliest return time?

I agree with the previous poster. On Sunday, I'd send a fast runner to get FP's for Space and the rest of you head to Indiana Jones and then Splash and/or BTMRR.

Never been to it. Is the show still running? I thought I heard that it stopped. I'd do this as an time filler after the big rides were done. Given your time frame in DL, find out what time it closes. I would do it sometime in your 5-11 evening time on Sunday.

I think i'm destined to keep missing it. (twice it didn't open at "opening" last time i was there) Was hoping for a "dinnertime" or "before closing" response.

Can't do single rider this time. (am with 9 y/o son). Looking for which one will give me the "quickest" return time....so i can get the other one.

Pirate's Lair....aka Tom Sawyer's Island......I'm thinking 5 - 7pm timeframe on Sunday is indeed logical.
