We will be in the parks from Wed 9/19 through Sat 9/22. What rides would you expect to be closed? Will the Halloween overlays be completed on the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain?

Thanks!

HM and SM holiday overlay will be complete by then.
There are rumblings of possible closures for Indy and BTMRR, but nothing definite yet.

I realize this isn't definite yet, and that the official word from DL has not been posted on their site, however I was just curious where the rumblings are coming from? This would be terrible, my DW and DD's favorite rides...

I think it was mentioned in an Al Lutz blog that was posted....I tried to find the link, but can't. I know for sure it mentioned Indy. It needs it!
When the blog came out, I heard BTMRR may undergo some refurb. It recently had some work done, so I don't know. It is all speculation until it is up on the calendar.

Either I missed it when reading through or it's not there about Indy closing. They mentioned Alice closing for a rehab.

Oh, and I received an e-mail about the Magic cruise to San Francisco this September and a special Walt Disney Family Museum tour. By the way I'm on that cruise and it's the Wonder not the Magic.

I hope Indy is open as I have been waiting for a while to ride it. I couldn't ride it in 2007 as my niece couldn't ride.

Al Lutz, on 2/21 reported the following:

There was a timetable that had Alice In Wonderland closing at the end of this summer, but that also may be pushed back due to two other big projects. Once the Matterhorn reopens in mid June, they’ll try to get through this summer without any rehabs planned for Disneyland. But by late August two big attractions will need to close for a long rehab; Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the Fantasyland Theater. The rehab at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will last for months and is largely a technical and hardware one, with the old ride control system still based on its 1979 ancestry completely replaced with 21st century technology.

In late summer the Fantasyland “WonderBra” Theater will also be closed as WDI moves in to remake that space into a more formal set-up with upgraded stage facilities that also mesh better with its Fantasyland surroundings. Late August is also the current timetable for shutting down the Carnation Plaza Gardens area to begin its remake into the newest version of Princess Fantasy Faire. That timing coincides with a similar project out at Walt Disney World, where they’ll be closing their Snow White dark ride to install a smaller and less ambitious version of what Disneyland is getting. But some of the set pieces and interactive technology tricks to be used in the Faire will be shared on both coasts, so it’s a project that is being paired together to shave some costs off both locations.

And with a planned two month rehab for Indiana Jones this fall, plus the usual Holiday overlay rehabs and crazy crowds expected through all of 2012, that Alice In Wonderland rehab just keeps getting bounced all over the calendar.

From where exactly his information comes is not specified, so take it with a grain of salt.

It is in that section. He talks about how the Alice Rehab dates may be moved around because of several other large rehabs - Indy, Big Thunder and the Fantasyland Theater.

Were going for the first time in mid Sep (11th-16th) and it would be heartbreaking for Indy to be closed. Here's hoping it is still open!

Aw I would feel so bad for you if Indy was closed. That's my absolute favorite ride so I totally get how upsetting it'd be not to ride it :(

Get this... Of all the times I've been to Disney, Splash Mountain has only been open TWICE! Talk about frustrating!
