Ride closures May 2010?

Anyone know of any rides at DL that will be closed during May of next year? My family is going and I just want to plan ahead. Thanks in advance!

They won't have the official schedule up until about 4-6 weeks prior, but we went this year in May and Storyboats (I think) was down and so was Peter Pan. None of the big attractions were down at that time (Except for random closures that happen because of the ride malfunctions.) They usually have all of their rides back and running by that time because that's when it starts getting a little bit busier.

There hasn't been an official announcement, but it looks like the Rivers of America will be drained from January 4 to May 14. (link).

During the RoA refurb, the following attractions would be unavailable:

Mark Twain Riverboat
S. S. Columbia
Canoes
Rafts to Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
Fantasmic! (expected to return on June 11, 2010)

Isn't Star Tours slated to close some time during 2010 so that it can be ready by the 2011 re-opening date?

Its supposed to open around May 2011. Don't have a closure date yet. But for the most part they are updating the video for the ride. I would guess it wouldn't be down too long to change things out.

Ah yes I forgot to add that. Lol when I told DBF that that river was going to be drained, he thought that it would mean the Jungle Cruise would be down too.

regarding Star Tours I thought it was going to have added effects in the cabins too not just a new 3D movie. That might make it a longer transition. I am so excited for the new Star Tours.

Today's MP weekly update (link) posted the following about the Rivers of America refurb:

"Rivers of America – closed January 4 through May 6 for major refurbishment. This also
closes all attractions requiring use of the river: Sailing Ship Columbia, Mark Twain
Riverboat, Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island (closed until May 14), and Davy
Crockett Explorer Canoes."
