Hey, all! I am going to Disneyland with my dad and 8 year old sister for my 21st birthday. We are going down on Sat, March 14-Tues, March 17. Right now, the calendar on the Disneyland website only goes through Feb. 28, and I see that Peter Pan's Flight will be closed then. We are looking to book sooner than later as we have a good price set up right now, but I dont know when the March Entertainment Schedule will be up. Any of you heard of ride closures in Disneyland during the time I will be there? Rumored or confirmed? THanks!!

I can't answer your question, but I wanted to say Hi & Welcome. :) Your username gave me a chuckle, I'm a Carrie also. And I think my dh would agree with the contrary part at times too. :lmao:

Nooooooooooo! I sure hope Peter Pan has reopened by the following week. My gang of 20 and 21 year olds will not be happy if they can't fly! :sad1:

Haha I saw your post on the Spring Break crowds thread. Looks like we will be down there around the same time. Hopefully it wont be TOO crowded :-/

I just posted in the other thread.........When we went in '06, it was Easter weekend. Maybe the Magic was just that good, but we were not overwhelmed by the crowds at all. There were a LOT of people there, but it in no way took away from our visit. :cool1:

After going the 2nd week in September this year, I dont know if I could stand waiting ever again! Haha. We walked on every ride pretty much.

But, this year when we go, it will be 2 days on the weekend, and 2 weekdays, during college spring break season (thats another reason why I am going! Days off of school!). We would go for longer, but my step-dad doesnt want my 8 year old sister out of school for very long. I think it will be okay though.. she will get to go for her first time, I will be in my favorite place for my birthday, it will still be good regardless!

College spring break is exactly why we are going! Our trip back in '06 was Easter break, only 3 days....although the "kids" all decided to miss an extra day of school so we wouldn't have to fly back so soon. This year we have 9 days including the two weekends. WooHoo!!!!

Ahh! I am so jealous! I would go for longer, but I dont wanna keep the little sis out of school too long (although I would miss school for 2 week long vacations when I was little). We decided to do 4 days instead of 3 since it makes it more worth the money to my dad. I would pay to go down for even one day, haha. I am so obsessed. But hey, I am sure there are a million other places I could celebrate my 21st that my dad would be more than happy to have me NOT go to. Especially on college spring break! :goodvibes

We won't spend the entire 9 days at DLR, but since I'm paying, it will be at least 4 days! The gang is talking of finding a van and we drive down. Straight down I-5 is a two day road trip, and of course they want to check out highway 101...Agreed there are worse places they could be for spring break!

Where are you guys driving out of? I think if I drove straight there from here (Seattle) it would like like 19 hrs... DRIVING THE ENTIRE TIME! If it was only like 10 or so, I would totally make the trip every couple months or so, but right now, airfare is just so expensive and I dont have the driving stamina to make the trip behind the wheel, haha.

We would indeed be driving from Seattle. My daughter and I are veteran road-trippers, so a couple of 9-10 hour days sound great. We'll just have to indoctrinate the other kids into our way of life...We are used to driving 11-12 hours at a stretch, since it takes a few days to get out of Alaska.

I was price shopping and figured that if we rent, it would cost about 1/3 the price of all of us flying out of Seattle, and I figure if we can borrow a van rather than rent one, we could divide the driving between 4 of us easily.

Hi :yay: Hey allgrownup--was thrilled to see you add your dates to the when and where thread :goodvibes We will be in one of the nqq2 rooms overlooking the garden pool. So far all I've heard about March was that possibly fantasmic will be down, but I think that will change now as things seemed to get rearranged around parades changing. I get the best, most current info off Mice Age.

We're going to be in the ndd2 room, facing either the Main Pool Area or the Courtyard.
If it's just fantasmic that's down, that would be great. Most of us got to see it when we were there 3 years ago, the other two will just have to take our word for it's greatness!:thumbsup2 oh, and thanks for the Mice Age idea. That's one site I hadn't seen yet.
