Ride closures in April..Bummer

I contacted Touring Plans and asked about the end dates of some of those refurbishments and this was their answer: "We are using Disney's dates and think they may be placeholders due to the construction. Haunted Mansion should be open sooner as it is a overlay removal." So basically, they're saying they're using dates they got from Disney, but even they don't have a great deal of confidence in (some of) them. So, at this point, I would look at the Touring Plans list as a potential list of refurbishments, but take the dates with an entire container of salt.

Wow I am suddenly really disappointed for my Disneyland trip coming up in March. Haunted Mansion, Autopia, Jungle Cruise, Soarin, and Grizzly River Run will all be closed. :/ I've never been more disappointed in an upcoming Disneyland trip. And this will be my daughters first trip too :( I really hope those dates are wrong and some of those open before my trip.

I just purchased our air fare from phila and bought our 5 day tickets so I hope all the rides listed are just a rumor.

When you check the Maps on the Disneyland website and click on the individiual attractions you can see the refurbishment dates:

Autopia: Jan 11 - Apr 28
Jungle Cruise: Jan 11 - May 5
Haunted Mansion: Jan 11 - Jan 21
Soarin: Jan 4 - Jan 23

And of course the railroad etc. (it shows as being closed up until Dec 21 2020 :-)

We are headed to Disneyland for our April vacation (4/22-4/30). I'm bummed that more rides are going to be closed. The railroad is closed and the who part of the part for the starWars and now Grizzly River Run and Soarin. The Frozen stage show doesn't seem like its opening till the summer time either.

I'm thinking for a slower time its going to be crazy busy with some big things closed. Any thoughts for those that go all the time?

We are traveling from the East coast and already have our plane tickets so to late to change and want to be prepared.
I am planning on going to Disneyland from Massachusetts that same week, it is a little sad about the rehabs. You were probably smart to buy your plane tickets, I haven't yet. Do you think the price is just going to keep going up at this point?

FYI, I'm going to DL from Boston in January, and regularly book spring airfares from here to LA. I have literally *never* seen airfares this low!!! Maybe because of all the unrest internationally I don't know, but I just saw january tickets a few days ago for 273 each RT o.o I suspect prices will bottom out for April around the end of January :)

You are so awesome for inquiring! Thank you!

Touring Plans changed the refurb dates for Grizzly to only 3 days in January, instead of until June. Still showing Soarin' closed til June though :(

Oh thank goodness! HM and Soarin will be open for my trip yays!

I really hope that Soarin' isn't closed until June 2016!

The number of ride closures for May 2016, in addition to learning about the "grad nights", has already been disappointing.
