Ride Closures for Rain

Can anyone tell me which rides DEFINITELY close during rain? I remember ones like Tea Cups and Alice but can't remember what else.

I believe Storybook canals too. Everything else that is outdoors will probably shut down if there is thunder/lightning.

Don't some close even just for rain (without thunder/lightning)...? I feel like I remember that happening on our visits before.

I remember getting soaked on small world and the Matterhorn, Alice, and tea cups closing for rain. I’m sure there is a post on the internet with information somewhere. Good luck!

For just rain Luigi’s, Alice and t cups close. Racers closes if the rain get hard.

If there’s lightning in the area than all outdoor rides close. This happened back in October and turned the parks into a huge mess.

Out of curiosity, I just checked the DL app. A number of outdoor attractions are closed, mostly at DCA.

DL: Alice, Teacups, Canal Boats
DCA: Zephyr, Incredicoaster, Jellyfish, Luigi's, RSR

Oddly, the Ferris wheel just says, "Standby line not currently offered," which sounds like "closed" to me.

On the other hand, GRR only has a 5-minute wait, so if you're already wet from the rain, go for it!

The radar shows heavy rain heading toward Anaheim and sticking around until 1:00 or 2:00 a.m., so I wouldn't lay a bet on any of the above rides reopening tonight.

Correct. But at the time you looked the closure was more than likely due to the 8:30 showing of world of color.

Incredicoaster does not close for regular rain BUT it's kind of miserable. I do not recommend! I was so distracted by the rain hitting my eyeballs hard a couple days ago, that it wasn't very fun. Sounds weird, but you're going fast, so they just sort of slam into you. I have one eye closed in the photo b/c it really hurt! In comparison, my weirdo kids thought BTMR was MORE fun in the rain b/c it made it more exciting. They also rode Matterhorn in the rain a couple times, but never when it was not raining, so no comparison. (We went all of last week, so we had a lot of rain.)

It took one look at this week's forecast and just decided to stay closed for the whole month, probably.
