ride closures and FP+

so what happens if you have a FP for test track and it goes down for a while. In the past with Legacy FP they still honored your FP's when the ride came back on line. Now are you just out of luck?

You get to reschedule it. But I don't think that you are guaranteed to get the original ride again, I think they will show you a bunch of choices that are available. Now maybe you can switch it around from that point.

I remember someone posting they got an email when kali went down. It said that they could use it on any of the listed rides at any time. Or kali if it went back up

Yes, last Sunday EE was down and I got an email saying I could us the FP on any listed ride including EE. I went back about an hour and a half later and used it at EE with no problem. I don't know if it works that way at all the parks.

When a ride goes down a new FastPass+ will appear in MDE as "Choice of Experiences." When we were at Epcot and Test Track went down (surprise surprise) it appeared that way and we could go to any of the listed attractions from the time Test Track went down up until park closing.

I think that's a good offer in return for the inconvenience.

The original experience was listed as an option (assuming it is back up and running later) as well as a fairly wide selection of other rides (I think the only one not listed on there may have been Soarin'). So, it works similar to the old system except it's electronic and they do let you choose other experiences.
