Event - RiddleCon (the first)
Place - Ponderosa Steak House
Purpose - Goodbye breakfast before going our separate ways!

Cast of Characters - WELL.... let's just say they are ALL characters! LOL!!


First up... Yepod (John) and his DD (Emily). John is signing an autograph book for one of our RiddleCon Buddies! He was such a great part of this event and made it very special for the kids - by bringing LIME GREEN pool toys for everyone at the Days Inn Pool Party. Of course, John is such a delight... just being around him is sure to infect you with a smile and a happy heart.

Helenabear (Elaine). Was extra lucky to get to spend more time with Elaine this trip. Got to know her at DIS Con and just picked up right where we left off.

What RiddleCon was all about... laughing, eating, playing like children, renewing old friendships... and making a few new ones along the way! My DD Lindsay (Bullseye_Girl) and Marla's DD - Kara. New friends. (Notice Yepod in the background ... taking MORE pictures!)

A few of my old friends - Dan Murphy and NancyIL! Loved spending some time with both of them again. Nancy is trying to talk me into Mousefest. Keep TALKING Nancy!

I'm afraid that is ALL the photos I took! I was NAUGHTY and just had a good time... and left the camera in my room everyday - except this last goodbye breakfast. I think we can count on others to fill in the rest of the story.

I can't tell you how great it was to meet you and your family. . . you all are such wonderful, genuine people and just a joy to be around..


It was very cool getting a chance to meet up for the breakfast- the only bad part was having to say goodbye. .

Thank you not only for the pics, but for coming the distance you all did- it was a special weekend and you all being there made it that much more so. .

Great pictures, Laura. These are sure to bring back wonderful memories. It was so nice to see you again and meet your family. I completely enjoyed the time we got to spend together and I surely hope that we can do it again next year.

Closer inspection of some of these pictures reveal some interesting and funny little details.

Like the picture of my DD and Kara - notice what Lindsay is eating - VEGGIES! LOL! (good kid!)

In the shadows behind Emily - is the outline of her mom - Jody.

We had a great time and would travel there again in a heartbeat if life permits it!

Some wonderful memories here, Laura!! So nic eseeing you again and meeting Grag and Laindsay for the first time. You all were great to be with for the weekend, a great time. And all the people there made it such fun, yes, hated to part company Sunday AM. I really had a good time goofing around with Lindsay and talking some good time with Greg. Thanks for sharing the weekend, super!!!!!

I'm sorry that we didn't know about the breakfast, it looks like you all had a blast! When we tried to call Bernie on Saturday after the storm, we discovered that our phone wouldn't work down there so we had no way to comminicate after that. I'm really sorry that I didn't get to say goodby to everyone.

As we rode out the storm with Baboo and TimNDansMom, I tried calling Elaine, Dan, and Bernie, but all I got were voice mails or (in Bernie's case) no answer. Sorry we didn't get to say goodbye to the rest of the group either.

Baboo and Towncrier... sorry we did not get the chance to do a decent goodbye. Kind of got wild Saturday evening when that storm blew in. Just means we have to get together again - so we can do the parting thing RIGHT! Practice makes PERFECT.
