I'm not that bothered about snakes but...

If one was waiting in my washing like that horrible big brown spider was just now... and jumped at me like that thing did, then I would be seriously freaked out!!! But spiders are worse... I hate them, I'm petrified of them... I ran for a hoover as I didn't know what else to do but it had gone when I came back.. I don't know where to, I'm hiding upstairs with chocolate, I don't want to go near my kitchen, and it needs tidying before I go to work! Help! I'm a hostage in my own house.... do you think it has run away and won't come out again, or do you, as I think, think it is waiting to leap on my back??!

I'd like to think I'm safe too... but my rational brain isn't working, the aracnophobic (sp?) side saying "It's waiting for you....!" it always does this!!!
