Hope Leah feels better soon. I had a way of always getting in the way of a flying ball rather than a bat! I think that is why we sit behind the screen at the BB games now!

Speaking of which, my DS came up to me last night, and said he had a present for me which he was holding behind his back. He said it was for me taking care of him since he was a baby (he is only 6 now!!). He pulled his hand from behind him, and there was a $20 bill in his hand! I said, "I am your MOM Brendan and I enjoy taking care of you". He kept insisting that I take it, and I finally told him that he was very kind, but I will be his MOM for free!

However, his Aunt Laura would like to charge him $20 for babysitting a few times...

Good morning everyone!!

Saying lots of prayers for DblD's mom!


The weatherman actually said last night by next week we might need to turn on our air conditioners......but first DH needs to get them put in the window!!!

Speaking of heat, what does 105 degrees REALLY feel like in Vegas??? We will be there this Saturday for 6 days.

Kids at school. DH at work. Car back in the shop. I have a few minutes before I have to leave.

DH and I both drive Tauruses. We are looking for a used car for DD. We spotted a used Taurus for sale by owner. We want her in something substantial. I keep driving by it and wondering if we should call. They dropped the price on it so I think we may call them. DD would be happy to have any car.

I may try to get some tomato plants in the garden that DH just made for me.

Can't go wrong with a Taurus. It is one of the safest cars on the road. I was rear ended by an eighteen wheeler on the freeway, and while my Taurus was totalled, neither my daughter or I was hurt. They have great saftey features.
