Moomer is tomorrow night. IF it's clear.

I can't bring any lilac into the house this year. DS has had a bit of a rough spring with the pollen and the smells. I've refrained from bringing in anything that might make things worse. Sigh. And lilac is my absolute favorite.

We have a 2 day swim meet over Mem Day weekend. Or is it one day? I am so confused. We have meets every weekend til the middle of June.

I'm gonna join a MOOMestary soon if I don't get some peace and quiet around here......

Bernie, I'm jealous of you getting to go camping next weekend! Our long weekend is this weekend, and I have to work Saturday, so that kind of wrecks it for us. Yesterday I actually looked to see if there was anything available at the Provincial Park that's about 1/2 and hour from here, thinking that I could commute from there, but they're all booked up.

Lilacs always remind me of my grandmother. She had a lovely lilac bush in her yard when I was growing up. Maybe I need to plant one, but I kill everything. I have a brown thumb.

I'm off to take the kids to school. I think I may have the riddle. I'll send a PM after I get back and check it over one more time. I haven't even checked out the Moody Blues or would it be the Moomy Blues?

OK, I sent my guess.

The next few days are going to be long. Both kids are studying for finals and DH and I are feeding them questions in the evening. Maybe they have finals so that parents will be so relieved that school is finally out. They will be finished the end of next week.

I have to do a mountain of laundry today. I usually try to do a load a day, but I've gotten behind. I don't mind washing, but I hate folding and putting it all away.

My DD got her bottom braces on yesterday. They told me that her top teeth would hit the bottom braces for a few days, and not to worry. Only thing was it didn't feel very good to her. Today her teeth have moved so much that her teeth no longer hit the brackets. No wonder the kid's in pain. They are moving those teeth a lot really fast. She had chicken soup and Tylenol for breakfast. Poor baby.

Ran into a storm taking the kids to school. Hail came down so hard that the ground was white. I don't think it hurt the new car, though. I'll go out and check really well when it stops raining.

My son is *supposed* to get his braces OFF tomorrow..he had them put on at a relatively older age, he's 18, and tomorrow is the day of his senior prom! So, he is REALLY, REALLY hoping he gets them off before the prom & before graduation!!!! If you guys could, send a good thought for the prom kids...with the full moom! and all, this mom is just a *tad* nervous about it! Plus, we also have the "mock" terror drill going on in Chicago and tomorrow is the most active day of that whole thing, too!

Kathy - we made these reservations 364 days before we were going to camp. It's the only way to get the sites we wanted!

Merry - isn't it amazing how a scent can bring back such vivid memories? I think that smell, more than any other sense, reawakens old memories! I do hope your DD feels better soon. My Erin is with braces right now too. She's so looking forward to removal day!

Donna - best wishes and PD that everything goes well for your son getting his braces off and that the prom goes very well!
