Good Friday morning! Another weekend is almost here. And, though it is only going up to 12ºC today, it looks like it will be a lovely spring day. Did my 1 mile WATP this morning, and Curves will see me after school.

As to the riddle, I have sent the PM.

Mickey, so glad that Mom is recovering just as is expected. As soon as she is out of CCU, hopefully she'll have a phone so that you can hear her voice. How's Dad doing? My DD is supposed to be going to Toronto this weekend for a choir workshop. A few of the parents are concerned, but the kids won't actually be anywhere but their concert hall. I asked her how she felt about it, and she is determined to go. The decision will rest with the conductors, now, and I know my girl. She'll be some ticked if they don't get to go.

Those working through moving and building-you have my admiration. I always swore that I'd not do that for a LONG time!

It took my a minute (and a Google search) to figure out what WATP was, Debbie! Sounds like you're Friday is off to a great start!

I've been reading about the sports leagues offering advisories to teams going to Toronto. Seems like some fairly common sense advise they are giving (avoid crowds, be careful about their persnal hygiene.)

It is hard to get a sense of what it's really like in Toronto these days and I can imagine that the uncertainty must be very unsettling.

Well, here is hoping the roofers get up more than 8 pieces of steel today! The contractor's foreman said he thought he should go work for the roofers, because they start at 10 and leave at 3:30!

Yeah, they put up a few pieces 3 weeks ago when we were in St. Louis, and just came back yesterday and started the big roof. At this rate, it will take them a month to get the whole thing on!!

Diane - I was just at Crescent Lake (and Port Angeles for that matter) as part of our vacation. There are MANY really beautiful places in Washington state and this is definitely one of them.

Marsha - I just want to hear you sing at Disney again! It was wonderful to spend time with both you and Tommy at DISCON.

Planning a shopping trip to Spokane for tomorrow with DD. She and I both have a long list and we determined that a road trip to BIGGER shopping opportunities was in order. So we hit the road early tomorrow for a full day of shopping, lunching, and spending of money. I need new work clothes in smaller sizes. I am down to a few items that fit and I am in front of the public all the time - so I need to do something about it. My DD on the other hand has the opposite problem... she has grown so tall (again) that her jeans are high watered!

M65-I am so glad that your Mom's procedure was successful. I am hoping that you'll be able to talk to her very soon.

My son had a planned band trip to Toronto for the first weekend in May. They were going to an amusement park and they had orchestra seats for the Loin King among other plans but the school board decided last week that they couldn't go. The kids were sad but this SARS virus has everyone scared.

Someone pleeeeeease take pity on this clueless girl........

Rob, hope your closing goes smoothly. We can start a thread later about closing horror stories, but now is not the time.
