Riddle me this!

Oh! Did I mention that we had a name change for our new little kitty?

Lilly is now LEON!!!!!

Upon closer inspection.......;)

He's a really great kitty! Very affectionate and a ton of fun! He's had us all laughing with his antics. Katie and I went out on Friday and picked up a few toys for him, including a very Suess-ian contraption that he seems to enjoy. It has multiple platforms on several levels with springy arms coming off of it at odd angels. The arms have fabric balls with bells in the hanging off of thread. He's a real riot when playing with it!

I do promise to post pictures ASAP! :)

I fact, Leon just joined me here as I'm typing this! :)

GREAT pic, Stephanie! What a bunch of CUTIES!!! :)

Kitty!!! YIKES!!!! I don't suppose there's ever a good time for that to happen, but on EASTER MORNING!!!!???!!!

That was a very sweet story of meeting Sharon, Bernie :)

I must say, I always wanted to go to Colorado Springs and I never seemed to make it out that way. Maybe someday :)

That is such a cute picture Stephanie!!

Hi there Rob! WIshing you all the best this week and I hope the closing goes well on Friday :)

Good morning everybody!!

I hope no one ate too much candy yesterday!!! :teeth:

I think I got this one! PM on the way!

Good thoughts speeding your way Mickey for your mom's successful surgery.

Sorry you're not moving comfortably today Elaine....take it easy!

Lew & I have an interesting "how we met" story but no time for that this morning.

You may have noticed a new counter in our signature. I added it not long ago as a wish rather than anything definate but yesterday Lew asked me how many days I'd like to stay on-site (his parents live in Orlando so we really should spend some time with them too!) With all systems go I'm starting to save all our spare change to begin our trip fund!!! ;)

Rob - best of luck this week! :) Enjoy the good weather! :)

Cyn - this is my first Easter on the Atkins Diet. I must say - I'm able to manage it very well! The toughest part was in passing on all the desserts at Mom's yesterday. She had lemon meringue pie (the meringue was HUGE!), carrot cake, chocolate on chocolate pie, lemon cake, currant bun and sugar cookies!

Elaine - I do consider the Springs to be my second home. We lived there for 8 years. I miss it and can't wait to get back there!

Here's an FPP I posted a while back....gorgeous views..

Morning everyone! I've sent along a pm. Has nothing to do with B.F. Goodrich :)

Mickey, I am off, too, today. This is my favourite weekend of the year with four days off.

We had some lovely weather yesterday, and the youngest DD had 3 different outfits on: dress for church, pants, then shorts. I wonder if she'll do her own laundry. Nah, she's 9, I'll be happy if she hung them up, put 'em back in the drawer, or even hit the dirty clothes basket!

I'm throwing stuff at Bernie for using the "s" word today. I wanna see some green!

Great pic, Steph. Diane, will you be sending up your pic of you and hubby in ears in August? What date would that be? Are you gonna be rehitched?

Rob, fingers crossed that everything will go just fine. Moving is so draining-emotionally AND financially!

Marla, after 3 days off and "Have you any notes? Homework?" , DD (same one above) comes out last night at @ 10:00, while watching The Ten Commandments with hers! Luckily, it IS a day off today!

Gotta go drive DS to work and work out at Curves. Have a GREAT day, everyone!

Diane - Happy Anniversary in advance! How great about being at WDW to celebrate it! You'll need to send along a pic of you guys in your ears! Maybe stop by the photo booth in Epcot! :)

Debbie - sorry about bringing the s-word up again! Misery loves company, I guess!! :p :p Have a great workout! :)

I will be sure DS takes a picture of us. Our anniversary is August 24th. We don't plan to renew vows. We did that on our 25th.

A quick add.

Bernie, we just added to our kitty's name; Tiger became (Princess) Tiger-Lily. So she was actually our first Disney named pet!

Debbie - way cool! I'm not sure where my daugher came up with the name Leon! He's such a tiny little thing, Leon doesn't quite fit him yet!

Morning Happy Riddlers!

Hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend....weatherwise it was beautiful here.....not quite "shorts" weather, but definitely one could have gone "coatless" (Pantless....NEVER, but COATLESS:teeth: )!

Off today to the Big Apple for work, so I won't be able to "play" between e-mails, but I DO believe I have today's answer (fingers AND eyes crossed as I PM)!!!

Have a great day all and I'll check in on the chatters later tonight!!!!

Valerie

Happy Monday to you too, MJ! :)

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain....

Mickey - I hope everything goes well for your mom!

OK- it was tough yesterday wasn't it? I never realized how many things on a holiday dinner table are loaded with carbs! I didn't "splurge" yesterday and I don't think I made it under 20carbs for my induction phase....but under 40 maybe. I had to have some ham! I managed to avoid the Boston Creme Cake and the chocolate eggs though.

I found a new way to treat myself too! Fresh strawberries only have 1.8 carbs per 1/4 cup - I take a couple of them and slice them (ending up with about 1/8 of a cup) and RediWhip has less then 1 carb per 2 tablespoons - add a squirt of that and I have something that seems like a cheat for about 1 carb :) That's what I did yesterday when everyone was eating chocolate creme cake!

All in all I don't feel guilty bececause I know I did really really well overall yesterday for visiting 4 households and avoiding a lot of temptation!

Nice colorful curtain today, Bernie! Sure, I finally think I have the answer, and Bernie heads for the shower! I think his last clue did it for me!

Montgomery Pike.....some ancester on my dh's side....and even though he was an explorer ......he was also considered a spy for the US ....so learned a few good things about him.......when our son and his wife have a doggie.....they are calling him Zeb.......I thought it was cute.....
