Well......you all might remember that we had an interesting experience this past Christmas when we took Katie to visit with Santa at the mall. Katie asked for a kitten and we thought we were in the clear as Santa explained that he couldn't deliver animals at Christmas as the ride in his sleigh would not be good for them.

And then he proceeded to promise that Mom and Dad would bring her one in the spring.

Well.......yesterday my son called me at work to let me know he was delivering a kitten to the house. I protested (a bit) - thankfully Katie wasn't home at the time. Then I got a call from Sharon. She had gotten home from work and fallen in love with the kitten already.

I met Lilly yesterday afternoon.

She's a cutie.

Katie is thrilled.

Morning OK and corral! Have to look on this one a little, but I have a thought about it. Breakfast spot looks lovely.

Twins beat the Tigers for the 14th straight time last night! We had music practice at church, so we couldn't go to the game. Kind of a bad week for having baseball tickets. We have to skip 3 of the 4 Yankee games because of Easter etc. I wanted to go Monday, but I teach that day, so the only Yankees game we can go to is Friday, and I have to skip Church for that!

Tonight starts our annual marathon at Church. I always feel like I should move in! We had a 4 hour practice last night, a two hour mass and service tonight, 1 1/2 hour service tomorrow night (that I am skipping ), and a 2+ hour Easter vigil Saturday night. I have to play for sunrise mass and 8 on Easter Sunday too.

Off to doing the Easter dinner shopping today, I think everything else is done, except of course cleaning....and that is ongoing.

Looks like our taste of spring is over, and it's only going to be 40 today...rain for the next 2 uck!

How many eggs does the Easter Bunny hide for your kids????

I was pleased to look out the window this morning to see there is NO SNOW out there, and it has stopped raining. I just heard on the radio that it might be coming in about 8:00. Just in time for the morning rush!! Oh well, we have 3 hours to look forward to it yet.

I'll take some of that coffee Steph. If I go downstairs and make coffee now, the dog crew will wake up, and I don't want to turn them out at 5:15!!

Bernie, please post pictues of your "new addition" when you can! It's amazing how quickly you get attached (even if you hadn't PLANNED on it)!!!

The summer day yesterday was surely a tease.....it's barely 40 degrees today, and not even a RAY of sunshine......hopefully things will brighten up for the weekend!
