Good morning friends...supposed to warm up here today...I'll save my winter pants for a really cold day.

Feeling much better about Christmas...got lots done the past few days. Once the kids are done with school on friday then i wont get a thing done...so best to finish it before.

Well....we took Katie to see Santa last night. She asked him for a kitten.

Santa was nice enough to say that he doesn't deliver live animals at Christmas since they have such a hard time in the cold on the sleigh. He told Katie he would have to leave it up to Mom and Dad.

We really don't want another animal in the house. A dog, a cat and two fish are quite enough.

Anybody know where we can get one of those life-like mechanical kitties???

Tonight is Katie's first violin concert. Can't wait. She's been practicing each and every day. I really do like these winter concerts!

BTW, Mickey and Breezy needed to clean out their PM boxes yesterday. I couldn't answer their answers! Oh yes, and we forgot to thank Gina for the wonderful Candy Cane riddle Monday! What fun! Maybe all that sweet is what did my stomach in yesterday!!

If you'd only asked about the kitties last week our Target had them. I'll look to see if they still do but I doubt it. They were selling fast.
Santa was right about the animals!!
My friend got a puppy for Christmas when she was about 7 or 8 and everything was fine when "Santa" put him unde the tree but by Christmas morning not so fine. My friend remembers shaking the puppy & saying "He won't wake up"...she then remembers days of asking "Why would Santa bring me a dead puppy?" Her poor mother is still traumatized!!!

Selling puppies at Holiday time is something we refuse to do. I make people wait until the hassle of the holidays are over before they can pick up a puppy.
