I drive men mad

For love of me,

Easily beaten,

Never free.

I don't know the answer, but I had to be first for the very first time. Good morning Bernie, I hope your day is a great one. :)

Yesterday's:

I've mixed up the names of two DISers here. Can you figure out who they are?

LEGAL CORONA

OLENA and CAROLG

Here's a neat place.....The Knead Cafe in Kalispell, Montana...

Check out the Casas que Cantan (Houses that Sing) Project, the great breakfast menu and the free music downloads...:)

I love "Catch a Glimpse" by Keith Greeninger

GOOD MORNING SERENA! :) Nice to see you here this morning. :)

GOOD MORNING ALL YOU RIDDLE BUDS! :)

Morning Bernie and friends.

You going mad again, OK? :p

I am "mad" here today. Yesterday they started cutting down 100 year old oaks on the property where I currently live. The sanitary sewer and public water is coming through here this fall. We can't hook up to it, but we will be asessed for it to the tune of $10,000 an acre!! We have 9 acres! Of course, about 4 of those are in wet land, and the rest is mesianic oak woods. They will be taking about an acre and a half of oak trees for this stupid sewer!

I found the lyrics to "Catch a Glimpse"....

When the walls of the city come tumbling down
And the businessmen flee for higher ground
Chasing dollar bills in their tailored monkey suits

And you feel yourself change at the tick of a clock
'Cause you finally catch a glimpse of life on another block
It's true, every window's got a different view

The day will come when you cannot close your eyes
The day will come when you finally realize
You'll see the sun a shinin', you'll see the children smilin'
And you'll catch a glimpse of a different dream
And you'll see beyond your own needs
Where it is the road you're on leads
And you'll catch a glimpse of a different dream

The last time I saw you you were drinking wine
I said a change was coming you said you didn't have time
To be worried about all the problems of this world

You told me you and your friends had it all figured out
You'd hide your possessions in the shadow of doubt
You'd sit back and wait for normal to surface again

The day will come when your illusions have abandoned you
The day will come when the clouds give way to blue
And you'll see the sun a shinin', you'll see the children smilin'
Yeah you'll catch a glimpse of a different dream
And you'll see beyond your own needs
Where it is the road you're on leads
And you'll catch a glimpse of a different dream

The world keeps turning the tides rise and fall
The power of this struggle gonna bring down these walls
And where you gonna be when justice calls your name?
But it's never too late to take a look around
And realize we're all standing on common ground
And with a little bit of kindness we can find ourselves a new way

Morning riddle friends

It is ccccoooooold here this morning....down to -9C with a windchill of -17C!!

Oh what a shame, Diane...all those lovely trees....:(

We're the same way here, Mickey....but we'll be warming up quickly - into the 60's here on Saturday. Indian summer! :)

I found some more music from Keith Greeninger The real audio links don't work, but the MP3 ones do.

Really nice stuff...

:)

Good morning Oldkicker and riddle friends! :)

Cold here today too, Mickey!

That is very sad about the trees Diane, and the bill....yikes!!

:)

Sorry you folks are cold, but we are warming up here today and tomorrow. It is actually supposed to get into the 50's the next two days. The long range forcast (as if we ever believe that:rolleyes: ) for here says a warmer than normal winter with average snowfall. You would hardly know that this month with the below average temps we have had!! It was the coldest October on record here in the Twin Cities metro area since records have been kept! (About 150 years)

Good morning everyone!

I would be very mad, too Diane. Our school took down some beautiful trees this summer because the leaves were falling on the track!!

Good Morning OK & Riddle Friends!!
Happy Thursday!
I hope everyone is well this morning.

We had such a mild and snow-less winter last year and such a WONDERFUL summer this year, we're all worried that all the bad weather will be coming this winter!!

Morning, Kitty! :)

Hiya, Lars! :)

Good morning. Not answering the riddle today...just not doing it!

We are supposed to be in the 60's for the weekend.

Diane...I hate to see trees cut down, especially for stupid stuff like a sewer. We had to take 4 down for our title five septic ...we had no choice...i sat on the porch and cried as they took the trees down.

Kitty! Because the leaves were falling on the track????!!!???

Amid! You on strike? :)

You should get this one!

It's right in front of you! (Well actually, it's right under you!) :)

I am just hoping this doesn't effect our signed purchase agreement with the party who is buying this place. He knows about the sewer easment, but I am not sure he understands how many trees are coming down.
