Both of my kids are back to school after being home sick yesterday. They both sounded like they were trying to cough up a lung over the weekend, so I figured that I should keep them home for a day.

I'm running a little late because I stopped off to vote before work this morning. It was nice to see a line of people waiting to vote!
Georgia's using new touch screen technology state-wide for this election. I though it was a vast improvement over the scanable paper ballots we had before. The poll workers had all had training and knew how the machines work; they were able to help anyone who's missed the media blitz on the new machines.

Sorry to hear the kids were under the weather, Baboo - Hope that all is well with them today.
I'm not sure what kind of turnout we'll have here in New York. We have had some very contentious races for local offices here. They may draw out quite a few of the local voters. Plus - we're going to have a dry, albeit cool, day today....

I'm also refraining from the voting booth jokes, particularly those involving hanging chads!
But with today's candidates, I almost wish the booth were like a toilet instead of a shower; some of them need to be flushed!!!
