What is the only English word for a number that when spelled, it's letters are in alphabetical order?

Yesterday's:

My voice is tender,
my waist is slender
and I'm often invited to play.
Yet wherever I go
I must take my bow
or else I have nothing to say.

A Violin

There were some variations on this theme too!

And JULIE! Here are some YESTERPANTS for you!

'Morning, Kim - Mickey. :)

I started making calls for the Holiday Extravaganza at my kids' elementary school. For those who haven't heard me talk about it, it's an event I run each year where we bring in speakers from all around the world to share the traditions of their cultures with our kids. Our school district has a very robust foreign exchange student program and I rely on those students to fill most of the presenter slots.

This year, however, the number of students is way down. :( Last year I had a pool of 23 students, half of them presented for me. This year there are only 4 kids.

I'm sure this is a direct result of the tragedy of 9/11.

I'm feeling that it is more important now than ever to expose our kids to the cultures and ways of the world so that they can be exposed to and appreciate the differences that make this world such an interesting place.

Morning, OK and Corral. Glad to hear you are feeling better today, Bern.

This is the first day in over 2 weeks that the answer hasn't come to me imediately. Looks like I will have to think on this one awile.

Your festival aways sounds like a great idea, OK. We used to volunteer at a local historic site that did something similar at Christmas time. There is a village of the 1800's here that concentrates on life along the Minnesota River when the state was being settled in the 1850's. They do a "Folkways of Christmas" presentation during December where members do a living history of holiday celebrations for the various nationalities of folks who settled the area. It is really fun and quite informative. We used to volunteer for a different culture each year, because we would have to learn a lot about it to do the presentation.
