When I was a kid, I missed the bus all the time. My school was cross town too. I'd have to go catch the city bus a ride to school on it. It dropped me off about a mile from school. I'd have to walk from there (uphill, both ways). Nothing like straggling in late and having the same old conversation with the receptionist.....

Today is pajama day at school for my daughter. That shaved a couple of minutes off her prep time!

The snow was so deep we had to tunnel out of the house!

It was so cold you could leave a bucket of boiling water on the back porch and it'd freeze so fast it would still be warm!

Winter lasted so long we'd have snowball fights on the 4th of July!

Man - things were DIFFERENT when I was a kid!!! LOL! LOL! LOL!
