I know what you mean, Mickey! I think BOTH students and teachers go crazy with that!

We have had a very wet year, as opposed to the draught other areas have had.

I have good news. DS was accepted into the Architectuarl drafting program and starts the first 2 years October 14. After the first 2 years, he will be go through placement and be able to work on the 4 year degree while working. The only snafu is that he might have to cancel his trip to WDW with us in January.

By the way, guys, I have a question for you.

HOW do you get a third grader to remember things?

In one week alone, he has forgotten....

a. his bathing suit at swim practise

b. his homework book at school

c. his work folder at school with homework in it

d. his coat at swim practise


We're losing our minds about this. I know 3rd grade is alot of pressure, but this is nuts! Any constructive ideas?????

DD is coming home tomorrow morning to pick up her new car, (that being a 94 Honda Civic in mint condition) she is So excited!
So, I'll get to spend some time with her this weekend

Rain all day yesterday, and raining again today. Tomorrow high, 65. Good biking weather.
