LPP for me! Now I will not be nakey while I ponder this one.

Thanks, Elaine. I love science. Diane, PICTURES!!!! of all the dogs, I love dogs more than science! I hate when they escape, tho.....

Glad it's warming up everywhere, THere were trees in DL/DCA that still had not budded. Spring is almost over, the citrus blossoms are out in full force, I opened all the windows yesterday after work, it was better than a yankee candle.

I'm looking around my little room here thinking of all the stuff I gotta pack. Last 2 times, someone did it all for us, this time, we're on our own. Still waiting for the "official" offer, so I don't really want to start yet.

Have a good day everyone. Elaine, you are a great riddle mistress.

Diane, I think I will be glad too! I keep waking up at 4:30 every morning so hopefully I will wake up at 5:30 starting with DST! Normally I don't look forward to it (it stays light out very late here) but right now I am!

Good morning everybody!

I LOVE riddles like yesterdays!! :bounce:

Science riddles are good too - pm on the way!

Well I am off to find some caffeine... been awake since 4:30 and haven't had any yet

Good morning everyone! It is raining here this morning... but it is still SPRING in all of it's glory! It smells wonderful outside. The sagebrush smells heavenly after a rain. :) It's still dark out here though... so I just poked my nose out the back door to assess the weather conditions. I will head out to feed horses and do chores in about an hour - once the sun is really up.

I am DEFINITELY looking forward to switching to daylight savings time again. It gives me so much more time in the evening to ride horses, work in the garden etc. However, I will have to wait a week to enjoy the benefits of the change... as I will be on vacation at the ocean when the change occurs. Despite being vacation - I bet I wake up early for some sunrise walks on the beach. :) I love the sound of the ocean and the smell. (sigh)

Morning everyone! Thanks for filling in Elaine - you are doing a great job.

DblD - I am so jealous of you. I have always loved horses. It must be great to just walk out your door and ride them whenever you want.

We want pictures of both DblD's horses and Diane's dogs!!!

PM is on its way...

Good morning all! Pm sent! Thanks again E! for doing the riddle today.

Debbie, my DD is one of those kids that thinks she doesn't need a coat already. She's already missed 9 days of school this month due to illness, but whe thinks it's too warm for a coat.

Diane, have fun picking out fixtures! I think that would be a great job. I also hope that your body recovers quickly from yesterday's doggy chase.

We get to pick up our "new" car tonight after work. I guess that all things considered, we came out ahead as far as the car went. When they wrote off our car, we figured we'd end up with less of a car, but we went from a '95 Nissan Altima to a '99 Chrysler Concorde LXI with leather interior and all the bells and whistles. DH is very excited! The new car will have more leg room for the kids since DS(15) is pushing 6' and DD(12) is 5'10" already.

I know you were talking about daylight savings time but my warped mind thought "THE CHANGE", as in something that happens to women only.

It is wonderful to have them on the property. Half the joy of horses - is the caregiving. Nothing like listening to them quietly crunching on hay, soft rain on the roof of the barn, and the smell of fresh pinewood shavings in their stalls. It is close to heaven. :)

I really do not have many pictures of my horses. LOTS of DD on them but almost NONE of my horse and/or me... as I am the picture taker and it is hard when you are riding!

Here is a picture of DD on her horse (Taliq) - taken about a year ago. He was my mount for MANY years. After I retired him from showing with me... he became her mount. He is a gem. One of the kindest souls I have ever known.

He is 23 years old this year! Looks pretty good for a geriatric huh?!

Thanks for the picture - it looks just like a postcard! The horse is beautiful, and your DD looks like a pro!

Morning Riddlers ...

Thanks for subbing Helenabear ... mornings wouldn't be the same without the Riddle.

You know ... being glued to the war news the past week has reminded me of how fortunate I am, personally, despite all the problems that plague us all in our daily lives ... even today's riddle ... LOL

I also wanted to say that I really enjoy coming here every day, or most days anyway, to enjoy a bit of humor, even if my vain attempts fall on deaf ears (and I'm not mentioning Gina's name ...lol).

So, Thanks to all, and have a GrEaT HuMp DaY! :D

Nice seeing that picture again, Dbl D. I recall when you posted that before. I thought it was so neat looking, still do. You three seem to have a good handle on 'life'.

I must have missed something......I didn't realize you were moving........???

I so very much agree!!!!!!!!!

Laura - thanks for the beautiful picture.

Baboo - DH has a Concorde and I'm amazed how much room it has....especially the back seat and the trunk. The darn car is longer than my Grand Voyager! We've had our car since 2000 and have been very happy with it (as long as I don't have to back it up!)

Elaine - I truly appreciate you filling in for OK today......and I'm sure I'll forgive you for your choice of the riddle........eventually!

:D
