Good morning all! Woohoo! Pant already!

Thanks for doing this again Diane. We really appreciate you taking the time out this week when you're so busy. It's very exciting watching your house being built. Your house reminds me of the house my cousin built.

DD is home from school today because of a professional development day. DS was almost home too because when I picked him up at school yesterday, he had a notice saying he was suspended because his vaccination booster hadn't been given yet. That was the first I'd heard about it, so I went to the health unit and got him reinstated until I can get it done. Yesterday was the only day this week that one of them wasn't home from school. DS was sick Monday and Tuesday, DD Wednesday and she's home today. Oh the joys of kids!

Thanks again Lars for doing yesterdays. I got a headache trying to figure it out and now I've got a heartache because I didn't!

Enjoy that high speed DISing Breezy! It sure is great, and it will make viewing all the pics of DISCON so much easier!

At least you are home with Well children today and not sickies! I used to hate it when they were home sick. A well day is fun, but a sick day isn't!

Actually, I'm only home this morning. I have to work from 12 to 8 today. This time of year I get some really weird shifts.

LOL, Lars! We have a box of "stuff" that we packed up in Whitesboro, NY in 1972 when we moved back to Minnesota. It is still packed!!!

After the first 2 years in my house I went downstairs & got any boxes that hadn't been unpacked and there was a few of them and I sold the contents at a garage sale. Just figured I didn't need them if I hadn't touched them in 2 years.

Glad to see you have power again Boo's Mom. It's a little too cold to be without it for long.

Diane, I work in retail, so this time of year is nuts for us. We start earlier, end later and work some strange ones in between in order to cover the busiest times.

We still have some boxes in the basement that have been packed since we moved to Peterborough 13 years ago, but I won't get rid of them because they contain my dragon collection and DH's unicorns. When the kids were little they were just safer there and now this house doesn't have room for them to be displayed. Some day I hope to have a place where they con come out again.

Yea, our NY box is mostly memorabilia. Things from when our DD was born etc. as well as our first 4 years together. Can't really part with it, but no need to unpack it either!

I've over compensated for the lack of heat this early, house is like a sauna now...LOL..

Holiday procrastinators...how are we all doing with that shoppingn list? I made my list this morning, and wrote down what I need to get everyone...AND found a babysitter for Boo for a few hours this afternoon...of course that is all contingent upon actually being able to get out of the driveway.

I had a pretty good day at the mall yesterday, but not as good as I'd hoped. I'll have to try again on Monday. Or maybe if we can ditch the kids tomorrow, DH and I can get some done before I start work at 5. Good luck with your shopping today Boo's Mom!

I have only recieved the one e-mail picture that I posted from OK. Haven't heard anything else except the 2 phone calls. I am sure they are having fun and we will hear about it when they return.
