Welcome back Dan, hope you enjoyed your little break. I see you are traveling south soon. Alphareta with out a car, how are you going to get to where you are going? Atlanta does have an excellent bus from the airport to thoses area hotels, but it's about 30 miles, if I remember correctly. Beware the humidity.

Today is our "getting rid of 7 people in the office" lunch. I arranged catering, told everyone to tell me how many guests, and got complaints. "I thought we were having steaks, why are we not doing it outside (todays temp 107, DUH), I want my own private dinner, I just want the money, I don't know how many people are going to come that I asked, my friends can't come during the day." And on and on and on. This is just one more reason I will be so happy in one month, because I won't have to be the MOTHER to abunch of whiney adults (only one).

It's been a busy morning. Today is DH's birthday. Had to go to the farmer's market and the grocery store. His favorite dessert is sour cream raisin pie, so I'm getting ready to put one together. Anyone want a piece?

Our nephew has his 8th grade graduation tonight. We couldn't go because DH gets off work too late. I could have gone, but didn't feel right about leaving him alone on his birthday.

Also made a trip to the hospital to visit a friend from church, but he was released yesterday. He is DD's piano teacher and he had congestive heart failure. Guess he is doing better.

DS is home from swimming practice, so I guess I better get to work in the kitchen. I'll check back when the pie is in the oven to see if I'll have pants when we go out to dinner tonight. I might cause quite a stir in the restaurant if I don't have pants!

It's a single crust pie made with sour cream, eggs, raisins, cinnamon, etc. It's really yummy. I'm topping it with whipped cream. Mmmmmm, this really isn't on my diet.
