Just got back. Was in Texas last week for work and
boy the NE just doesn't seem to want to warm up.
Cool and rainey, just like when I left a week ago ...

I am sooo excited about summer being almost here!! I love having my kids home during the day! A lot of my friends hate summer, they prefer sending the kids to school but not me! I have fun when they're home!!

I love the summer, too, Lars. Matt and I hang out....he'll swim in the early morning....we'll catch some breakfast....straighten up the house and head over to the pool in the pm......till late....

I can't wait for SUMMER!!!!

Mickey - I do hope the news about your Mom improves. She has certainly been through so much in the past few weeks.....I'll be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers.

Marla - people pay hundreds of dollars for those mud baths!! Glad to see you surived! I'm sorry that Kara didn't make the show choir.....

Stephanie - that is very cool. My Dad and my sister have some pretty neat birthday traditions that the two of them share. They each cut the other's pice of cake - things like that. Really neat.

I saw Finding Nemo yesterday with a bunch of Central New York DISers. What a great movie! It seems that Pixar can do no wrong!

My buddy, ScottWDW put it together - we met at the Disney Store before the movie and had a nice lunch at Kahunaville after! A good time was had by all!

Bernie - our main objective was getting our money back, which we did. My DH went to the store Saturday morning. The funny thing is that no one tried to help him with the situation they just refunded the money. I don't know if we will start looking right now or just wait until the pools go on sale at the end of the season.

DH and I wanted to see this right away too, but there was no time over the weekend, and I doubt there will be time for at least another week either! It looks really good.

I can only imagine at how disappointed you must be, Lorraine. If you can stand to wait, you may end up saving a bit at the end of the year.

Lorraine, you are quite lucky to get your money back. I don't know what your alternatives are at this point, but at least you have some. Good luck....perhaps another contractor will squeeze you in!
