I was reading about his passing too, Gail. :( A very sad thing. Generations of kids grew up with his gentle ways......

My kids, especially Matt, loved his shows when they were small.
I saw the sad news about Mr. Rodgers too:( I remember watching him everyday when I was little! My kids were never huge fans of the show but I loved the trolley & the make-believe land when I was a kid!!

Steph-I hope you can find your dog!

Today's riddle is making me dizzy!! Yesterday I took one look and knew right away what it was. Word problems for math were always my downfall!
ME TOO!!!!
Story problems always annoyed me! A train left NY at 8am traveling at 50mph. A train left LA at 10am traveling at 60mph. If one train stops for an hour in Denver and the other stops for 1/2 hour in Cleveland...how many of the passengers are pregnant????? They never made any sense to me!!!!!!

Good Morning Riddlers!
No sleeping in for me today either. Will be out of here by 7:00.

Steph, good luck finding your dog. I know how scary that can be.

Sad news about Mr. Rogers. They're from my hometown. My sister used to do Mrs. Roger's hair every week. Sweet people.
They have a big Mr. Roger's display out at Pittsburgh airport, we were looking at it last month, and hanging there was one of his most popular sweaters he wore, his mom made them for him!

No clue on the riddle yet, going to make and coffee and pnder.

I just heard the story about Fred Rogers too. One of our kids loved to watch him. The other thought he was boring. I thought he was great!

Warm hugs to every one freezing today (including me:) )

'Morning, Mickey!

Well, it's a good thing you realized that or you would have missed a day at work tomorrow! :)

I had a couple of request to do a 'math' riddle again.

Balanced riddling - just another service brought to you by the riddlemeister. :teeth:

Glo - I think we're on our own getting there! :)

John - we did give our ex-teammate a bunch of grief last night - looks like it did nothing but motivate him!

Lars - we're sitting at 8 degrees right now. BRRRRRRRR.....

Sorry some of you are freezing, but we are due for this heat wave! We have had zero or lower with double digit windchills for weeks! We had one thaw to above freezing for a day about a week and a half ago, but went right back into the deep freeze. So glad we can thaw out again today! I understand it will be short lived though. I hear cold and snow are coming again Sunday.

We can thank LTM for one of the math requests I bet (talking about giving one of OUR teammantes a hard time:p :p ;) )

Marla, I wouldn't talk about shopping or parcels or wagons or nuttin, cause I know your secret:p :p ;)

Bernie, maybe we need Gina to send Luca Brazi over to your ex teammates place to splane sumpin to him:eek: :smooth:  :smooth: ;)

Good morning Oldkicker and riddle friends. :)

I'm sorry about your dog Stephanie. I hope you find her safe and sound, very soon.

Awwwww....I didn't even realize Mr. Rogers was sick!

Sorry about the game Bernie. I guess your former team mate knew all of your "tricks".

Clueless and still half asleep in Hamilton.

....I bet if I check my horoscope, it says to go back to bed! ;) :)

I don't suppose I'll actually make it on to page 2 or 3??? No paper today, so I'm starting with DIS.

I was shocked to hear about Mr. Rogers. I think that Pittsburghers will really be affected by this. I didn't realize that he was ill, and now I wish I would have had the chance to meet him. What a gentle soul he was!

Hope everyone has a great day!

LOL, John!

"May their first child be a masculine child..."

'Morning, Kim! I'm a bit logy this morning, Those late-night games are tough to recover from! :)

'Morning, LK! :)

I've been recalling how Fred Rogers presented himself to the children of America and the world. I think that he, Captain Kangaroo and so many of the folks who came on TV in days were such gentle, loving souls.

With all of the flash, brash and trash that is presented to our kids today, even the little ones, it was always a treat to sit down and enjoy someone who simply spoke to the kids with kindness and respect.

He really will be missed. :(
