Riddle me this! (Are we all back now?)

Monday's riddle:

Mick and John were in a 100 meter race. When Mick crossed the finish line, John was only at the 90 meter mark. Mick suggested they run another race. This time, Mick would start ten meters behind the starting line.

All other things being equal, will John win, lose, or will it be a tie in the second race? (Show your work!!! - Explain why!

John will lose again. In the second race, Mick started ten meters back. By the time John reaches the 90 meter mark, Mick will have caught up to him. Therefore, the final ten meters will belong to the faster of the two. Since Mick is faster than John, he will win the final 10 meters and of course the race.

Woke up, got out of bed,

Dragged a comb across my head

Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,

It's raining so hard here it's pathetic. AGAIN! Summer will get here just about in time for Christmas!

Wow......I think it's my first time for FPP!

I hope everyone is back today because I want to share what I got in my summer exchange box from <font size=4 color=#800080 font face="Comic Sans MS">ELAINE!!!!</font>
She brought me some great things from her recent trip to WDW!

Each of the 4 Parases now has a new Mickey tumbler, one each in orange, purple, red and yellow. (I'm using the orange one right now!) To compliment our drinks there are 4 Mickey stirrers. So I don't drink too much without eating, I have a bag of tri-colored Mickey pasta. There was also some WDW post-it notes and a magical penny that has a star punched out of the middle. I'm going to keep it in a special place and naturally it will multiply each night by magic so that I can afford to join the angels in the World in August and again in December!

Last but not least.....my good friend Elaine sent me a new car!!!! It's a lime-green Honda Civic and Matt already has his eye on it.....but I told him it's mine!

Thank you so much Elaine for the great gifts from WDW....they are all very much appreciated!!!
